I was in awe of GT4 when it came out, and even to this day, that emotion lingers when I watched it boot up to that strange world map. But even though GT4 has tons more content, tracks and racing to do, GT5 makes them all seem primitive in comparison. And most racers in general. Show me a better Nurburgring Complex, where I can also take hundreds of stock or modified street cars.

GT4, I thought it was the most complete game. Although I still miss the GT40 Road Car from GT3 :(

I absolutely loved that car, it's such a shame some cars get dropped from GT series as new games come out.

GT2, I had so much fun RMing every car I could, but GT5 made me a actual car nut with all their car descriptions, they're effi' intresting

GT4. Loved it and played it to 97%. Didn't put it down.

Also, unlike GT5, you don't feel handicapped playing GT4 without a wheel.

GT5 is great, but man it really sucks with a controller instead of wheel.

GT4. Loved it so much and that is the one I have voted for but GT5 is great for me as I love the photo mode.

I've just gone back to GT4. It has outlived all the other GTs, thanks to its. COlossal career mode. Substance over style, PD!

Hello Senor,
No doubt, The Gran Turismo 2. The openning scene was an absolute stunner

GT2 no doubt

anyone who played the original extensively, was floored during that opening credits for GT2

Between the ones I've played (3, 4, and 5.) Definitely 5. So much content and stuff to do.

So when do I unlock all this content and stuff to do? There was a million times more stuff to do in GT3 and GT4.

I'm guessing its all the endurance races unlocked at around level 30?

GT2 was a masterpiece of a car game. Lots of cars, traks, events and easy to get money.

Money to buy all the cars you want, and tune them. And the events at the dealerships, whit on type of cars. You had to drive a lot of boring cars, but you discovered many cars that was fun to drive. I played GT2 active until 2005/06. Winter of 2005 I started to drive whit manual transmission, I found an old thread asking for hint /tips. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=56156 I even had the craziest setup for the Dualshock control(it's in the thread). I could accelerate and brake at the same time, so I able to make the cars "dance" in the curves. I was a master on GT2.

So now I am going to take out the old PSX, and play GT2. And tink about good old times.:p:p:p:p:p

There are more than just those 9 - out of which only 5 or 6 can and will be done by sane people?

I voted GT5 because back when played GT,GT2 & GT3 I wasn't really into them just cause I was young & didn't know jack about circuit racing. I then later tried Sega GT still didn't like the whole concept.... then later on picked up Forza 2 which for me was a great learning experience to enjoy games like these and I been hooked ever since.

GT3. There seemed there was so much passion put into the game in comparison to GT5! :dunce:

I vote GT5,it is the first title in the series can driving with clutch & H shifter with head tracking cockpit.
Although many other funny elements from the past are missing, but I concerns driving experience more.
I dreaming for this since GT3 release, and now come true.

Voted for GT4, it was such a perfect game with massive amount of events in A-Spec.

GT4 is on par with GT3 for me really. GT3 was also fantastic.

Such a shame that GT5 isn't like that... Hopefully GT6 will! I have a feeling it will.

Strangely, the game I enjoyed the most was GT5 Prologue! Mainly because I joined a great small GT forum & spent several evenings a week racing online with them & other nationalities in inter-forum events, it was a great time. Yes it had it's flaws, no private rooms & fails when trying to join races being the main 2, but it had none of the negative drawbacks that I'm getting from GT5.

👍

well, i did enjoyed Gt4 very much but right now with GT5 i have what i wanted. Ferraris, Lambos, Cockpit view, HD 1080p... I think GT6 will be awesome and the best yet.

Tough choice between GT4 or GT5.

GT4 had so much more events, and was a solid game with lot's of replay value, had more tracks than GT5.

GT5 is much more immersive, graphically and physcially advanced, online play, Ferrari/Lambos, etc.

Hard choice, but I'll vote for GT5, I'll bet GT6 will be an epic game.

Gran Turismo 3. I remember watching my older cousin play when I was just a little kid. I was surprised that there was a Toyota Vitz (Toyota Echo) in the game, so I asked if I could try. I loved it immediately. Those were the times :)

GT5 easily has the best physics but the whole presentation and all events of GT4 was better so I enjoyed GT4 more

GT5P is the one I've played the most- for over two years. GT3 the least (lasted for about three weeks). GT4 is when my PS3 was sold. GT5 will probably be the last game I'll ever buy if I don't live to see the next GT.

There really should be an "All of the above" list. They each have their own ups and downs, but overall I've enjoyed each and every GT since the first one back in 1998. For a racing game, nothing's better. And they've entertained me for years.
