Hey, buddy! Working too much! Moving so much weight, it's difficult to drive GTS because my arms are so heavy feeling.

I'm trying to get reacquainted with the F1500T-A a bit in preparation of the incoming Formula car. Throttle control. And then, more throttle control.
 
I only did those F1500 events a couple of days ago as I forgot to revisit them after they fixed the tire bug. Good fun trying to keep the turbo spinning in the slower corners and riding 3rd gear's wheel spin when you floor it is grin inducing. Monza's Ascari had me holding the wheel in a death grip as it was more like rallying through there.:D

Popeye arms. You'll need the new direct drive wheel to feel any feedback soon.:lol:

After school and army I was working as a truck driver for a couple years while working on my music career :D.
It's been a 7.5 t vehicle, the heaviest I was allowed to drive with a standard driver license. Delivered food and beverages for smaller shops, stores, gas stations and the likes. I know such arms - I still could hold the guitar, the sound though :lol: ...
 
I'll be doing a lobby tonight if anyone's interested. 9pm GMT.

Half distance FIA type BoP races. Alternating between Gr3 for 6 laps with 5/9 tire and fuel and 6/7 for Gr4 over 8 laps. The reason being I'm out of practise with those settings after doing too many sprint races.:O

Strong shortcut penalties, none for contact and we'll vote for tracks (of normal length) as we go along.

If you've got friends who're interested, ask them to send me (Digtater) a FR so they can join.

Sorry mate ...i didnt see your post at time to be there .... i saw you in a lobby with another british player ...i tought he s was your son .. playing in family so i didnt want to enter the lobby :D
 
Not a problem mate and yes it was my son.:)

I'm going to try and do a nightly (9pm) room as soon as it cools off here. Nothing serious. A quick warm up then short (4-5 laps) sprint races running back to back. Quick match style.

I didn't save any replays (always forget) last night and wondered how well my son and acid defended? They defended ok against me but I'm a dad to one and uncle to the other so they left me room. I noticed a few traffic jams when you guys were behind them though. They've got semi decent awareness but they've both got a few holes in their race craft with inexperience and lack of track knowledge.

I'll be doing another lobby tonight anyway. Starting with public but if enough friends show up, I'll switch it to private again. Hoping to get a few one make races in this time. SFR Racing and Pantera's top of the list but I'm open to suggestions.
 
What timezone ? I am desperately looking for some driving. The GTP lobby thread is not really working. I still dont see the difference with this thread, but as long as the racing is clean I’m up for it !
 
We had a long running thread for GT6's quick match and this thread keeps us in touch with each other, seeing as there's no quick match in GTS...yet...

...and it's 9PM GMT. Send a FR to me (Digtater) and I'll add you. The lobby will be public at first (looking for other clean racers) so it'll be easier to find me. Mic preferable but first come, first served.

The racing is purely for fun and it doesn't matter who finishes first. It's all about the journey to the line.:D

I thought they both did well.The Nurburgring is one of my weaker tracks.I actually side swiped your nephew and forgot to apologize.
 
Thanks Kilesa for letting us join. Have never raced at LeSarthe so that was awful. Mount Panorama getting better at. So was some nice racing.

The Pantera at Ring was best !

I got a bit carried away with the Pantera and wore myself out. I think it needed to be limited to shorter tracks, with around 150 corners less. Who's dumb idea was it to run two laps? It may have been mine...:lol:

I don't usually crash that often but my stamina is limited and I didn't give myself enough time to recover by driving slower or taking a break. Paid a heavy coin and ended up feeling ill all night as a result.:sick:

I'll probably do another room tonight (same time) and keep it public but I'll likely spectate a couple when I need to take a break. I've got to remember my limit and stay under it.
 
I fell asleep watching TV and my missus left me to it. Just woke up at 3.30am.:guilty:

I'll be taking some steroids later today so I'll definitely be doing a lobby tonight. My son's borrowed me one of his headsets as well (Turtle Beach) so I'll hopefully not have to talk as loud any more.:lol:
