Haven't tried the new cars yet but the track is interesting. Nice and wide and it looks like there'll be plenty of overtaking opportunities with different lines. 6 variations to learn though. Gulp!

My son bought a PSVR yesterday but doesn't have the room to use it properly. He's leaving it plugged into my PS4 instead. I'll be able to practise the track in VR.:D

Is it me or the new track reminds you of an old italian cartoon (la linea) ???

I hadn't heard of it before you mentioned it but it does look similar.

Tried the A variation last night (longest?) and enjoyed it but watching a few streams last night, C looks like it has a much better flow. It looks like it'll take a while to remember the line but I imagine it'll be a popular track. Perfect for the F1 car...after they fix the throttle issue. Apparently it's driveable as it is but I'm avoiding using it till it's fixed properly.

Agree, the new track will take a lot of learning! I tried variant C, and had to keep one eye on the circuit map at all times.

Also tried the Honda S660 in the Tsukuba Daily/Weekly  - very nice to drive, ran what I thought was a good quali lap, only to find in the first race that I was last but one on the grid! Managed to finish 7th though.

The second race I was shocked to find I was on pole, but the race proved to be a good test of the revised penalty system. The guy who started second and I swapped places for the whole 5 laps, although his blocking and passing was a bit more 'robust' than mine! Neither of us received any penalties 👍, and we finished the race, with me in P1 with a blue SR S rating, and he dropped back to 3rd with a red SR S rating. Good racing, with what I thought felt like a fair result....

Hello...... damn there is too much dust in this thread
Did you know there is a special safety car in game who only few peoples got it

I've hardly touched the game in a month so very little to talk about. Seriously missing racing but I'm struggling setting up and packing the wheel away each time. Such a wimp.

Looking into a more permanent solution so all I have to do is sit down when I fancy a race. Still haven't done an FIA race yet and I'm itching to get into them.

I got it too, you need to get all Golds in Driving School

Not sure what the reward for all the Silvers tho. Personally i got the Veneno

Really should have looked in my garage first before asking that. I have it tarted up to look like a police Scotland car. Forgot all about it. Thanks anyway for the info mate. 👍

A right pain setting them up for a quick fix and you being a family man will no doubt get grief for hogging the TV and cluttering up the living room with fangled gadgets.

My missus is heaven sent for gaming as she barely ever watches TV now. She kept ignoring my very subtle (but constantly said:lol:) hints about setting the rig up in the corner of the living room but she's finally weakened and relented. I'm just looking for a suitable screen (possibly PC monitor) and something to put the console on, grab a 10 meter HDMI for playing other games on the big screen and then I'll be sorted.

A lucky man indeed, none of my past flames liked gaming at all. That was time ill spent and should have been better used to lavish attention on them.

I use a computer monitor at the moment and it has an amazingly sharp clear picture on the PS3/4. The very last night of the GT6 servers being online I took my PS3 and monitor up to my mates who has the 3 big TVs and 3 PS3s, (think I posted a pic of it here a while back) My wee monitor had the best picture, just a pity it wasn't a 42 incher like theirs.

Unlike the early days of GTS, when you rarely saw the same drivers twice, I keep coming up against the same people now.

What does amaze me, particularly when our DR and SR scores match, is that I never see any of you guys at all. I regularly see qualifying times for @Rizla, @Nonno Calvy, @Mwerte, but don't get to race against them.

No chance at the moment, as my SR took a big hit at Blue Moon - penalties from people pushing me in the rear. I love racing there, and have had a few wins, but the SR can't take it! I ended up in a race at Maggiore last night, against a whole field of E/Bs - was on pole by a big margin, and took an easy win, but it felt like I'd been sent to the naughty step

I hardly do any sport races, only done about 90 odd since last year. Do like trying to beat you guys on the quali times though.
Ah, that explains it then!

Still see @Mwerte and @Nonno Calvy at the Geezers races - well, don't see much of @Mwerte as he just disappears into the distance to win every race (even when he's running hard tyres, and the rest of us are on mediums!).

If I get to about a second behind @Mwerte on the quali board then I've done a stonking lap and am well pleased. Only beat him once but I feel he wasn't trying to hard that day. Probably only did one lap driving one handed whilst reading a newspaper & riding a unicycle.:lol::lol:

:)

I own the GT-R safety car since day 2 I think ... and though I've never been a car collector, I have only 5 missing right now, unbelievable. I'm hoping for the daily rewards, however, this might take a while with the few days I drive atm. All I do is re-completing track experience when a new track is available, I haven't raced since about May.
After my Nürburgring GP Waterloo I made my way back up to a high B / S.
I don't like grinding but I can accept to do it for credits or mileage every now and then - grinding for DR / SR is beyond me and that's where defiance comes into play. And I'm really good in that.

Asus 24" monitor. No speakers but includes a headphone output. 2 ms lag. $130 USD. ...

Had an Asus 27", gave it to my FORTNITE kids some weeks ago  ...
Asus has great monitors.

That's the same as my sons monitor. Brilliant for his fps games with that latency and a nice image too.

I've got a 27" acer for my PC that I could use but it needs a DVI to HDMI cable to use it. I've also got a 32" TV (crappy model with built in DVD) but the response time is likely measured in minutes. Possibly good enough for racing games though.

We noticed. Stubborn bugger.

Anyone fancy a bit of lobby racing later? Like 8PM'ish? It's time I got off my arse and played again. If there's enough interest, I'll make it friends only to keep the riff raff out.

Probably 8PM again.

If it wasn't so late, I'd still be racing.

That was a quality racing session from start to finish though. Hugely enjoyable.

They're private lobbies though. I'd need to get a friend request accepted off the host to get in.

Do you know who's hosting tomorrow?
