I got a "Drift Tap" during a skill chain when I lightly tapped a wall with the rear of the car, worth 1000 points... I don't recall seeing that before, did they add that in with the content update from Tuesday?

I think there's actually a perk for tapping the wall while drifting.

Nope, it's been there since launch. There is a perk for drift tapping as well. Gives you 500% more points or something like that.

Said it once and I'll say it again. An easy and quick way to bank big XP is to make a powerful HE Skill car, wait 'til a Skill Song on Timeless comes on, and just start drifting around in the banana field. I've managed over 1 million in one chain with the Nomad. And that isn't even a Horizon Edition.

There is always a computer player following me around, making it frustratingly difficult to just free-roam. Sometimes this AI driver rams into me and it doesn't matter how hard I try to lose the AI, it will find me. I wonder if playing offline will help that...

I'm just missing one car from completing the whole "Hotizon Promo" thing, problem? Well it's the Ford Shelby GT350R Preorder Car and so far, i have only seen the normal one driving around. Also i can't add it in a blueprint race so spotting one randomly is my only choice.

Well, I bought the 2012 GT-R and am annoyed that there isn't a N24 livery available for it and then I bought a Trueno to keep stock. I'll buy another one to modify later for when the drift forzathon opens. Though it's kinda fun just to slide around with on its own.

Taking a fortnight break from the game due to final exams, I presume everyone will be at least at level 100 by then. The game is really easy to level up, what with the guides stated above.

Also, I seem to have the preorder cars (R8, Hellcat) in the garage, but when I accessed them, it loaded the marketplace and it failed to go further. This happened after the update. Anyone experiencing this?

I did notice I had several new cars in my garage after update, haven't selected them yet though, will give it a go later on.

EDIT: Can't use any of the pre-order cars, including the GT350R that I used in the beginning.

I just ran out of fuel on my second - and thus, last - lap on my first attempt at Goliath. After experiencing one hell of a rubberbanding AI. Didn't know an S15's fuel tank gets drained in 20 minutes.

Hop in the regular GT350R and drive around for a while: Drivatars tend to drive the same class as you. When you spot another Mustang, head into Photomode and snap it. Unfortunately, since Preorder Cars don't have custom liveries, there's no easy way to tell.

I've yet to experience any sort of rubber banding, but I have heard about it going on in that race, so I wonder what's really going on. There's so many mixed opinions on that aspect that it's hard to pin point.

It's quite easy to spot on that track. Once you get ahead, the AI will stick to you for a good while. You'll eventually lose them, however. Can't say why that happens, but it does - multiple times. Anyway, once the AI drops back far enough, it'll somehow increase its pace dramatically. Like, close a five second gap in a heart beat. Not that they can actually keep your pace, actually battle you for position or anything; they'll just catch up. On my second lap, I had only the #2 near me. Got suspicious and pushed him into an obstacle (for science). He dropped out of sight, of course, and a few seconds later, the previous #3 - who was nowhere to be seen previously, mind you - was breathing down my neck. Someone who's catching up to me like that ought to utterly destroy me. He didn't. I let him pass, allowed him to build a little gap but took the lead again a corner or two later.

Long story short, the AI gets incredibly fast if it needs to catch up to you. Magic.

I am new to this game. Why are the SOCIAL, CLUBS, CARS, RIVALS and MARKETPLACE tabs are not working?

Do I need to win many races in order to open all of those tabs on the main menu? The only tabs that are working is the HOME, COMMUNITY and PROGRESS tabs.

Also, where do you go to Free Roam in this game?

you unlock them as you progress through the game, quite early on actually....

If they're greyed out you have to unlock them at certain levels if you're new.

Anyone else noticed this? The Bugatti Chiron is mentioned by name on Hospital Radio. Start a Hypercar championship and listen to the chatter between races.

Completed all the Exhibition races, Bucket Lists, All roads found..etc but now 3 Drift zone left and it's pisses me off. 🤬
Any Tips on the car or tune build?

I might as well just stop and have some online races or those playground mini games.
