I was hoping the map would be a lot bigger than just the south-east coast, though. :( Is there more to it?

There are two map expansions that have been confirmed to exist, but no clear information has been discovered about either. It's safe to say that the map will get bigger in the future, but how and how much bigger it's anyone's guess...

This ought to be good.

I just noticed that the Autoshow has a special section called "Upgrade Heroes" and it consists of all of the cars with widebodies and blowers.

Questions about how to use the map.

I think I am beginning to understand how to play this game. You don't need to get into a race in order to get XP points and money right? You can just drive anywhere on the map and still get XP points and money correct?

My next question is how do I get around in the map? Does the map act like a GPS where you can enter the your current location and tell it where you like to go? If it does work like a GPS navigator, how does it work? I see at the bottom left corner "Anna" voice. Can Anna help me to get around anywhere on the map?

I only played the game for 2 days and still confuse about to play this game. Forza 6 game is not as confuse.

Thanks for any advice!

You can use Anna to get you around by pressing down on the D pad and using the shortcuts that it brings up. If you pause the game, you can use the map from the menu and pressing 'A' will set the GPS to where the cursor is on the map.

ok, but you can only go on the map if you have unlock all the roads in the game by doing special events and races correct? I mean, can you unlock all the roads or the entire map if you just drive around the map and exploring WITHOUT doing any any special races or events?

It looks like this game make you do all the races in order to unlock all the roads on the map. I think it would be great if all the roads are open or unlock from the start of the game.

If you ignore the races, you can go anywhere.

MXH
I was about to do the same after a couple of frustrating tries before realizing that you'll have to hit the railroad pretty much as soon as you get the opportunity. It was easy from there on.

Just don't hit those goddamn trees made out of adamantium.

:p
That's how I got #23 finished in only two tries. The railroad tracks are the answer. My nemesis is #17, drifting the NSX at night. As stated before, I am complete crap at drifting, so I may never get this one.

When Forzathon unlocked last night, I tried to get into a freeroam adventure about half a dozen times, but it kept failing. I'm hoping for better luck tonight. It wasn't a complete waste. I picked up the Mazda Cosmos in the D-class sale and got the BRZ HE in the auction house, so it was a good night for me.

Played for 1,5 hours and what a great game it is. I am simply amazed. Very hard to put down. My first drivatar that challenged me was @MXH and in my second race it was @TokoTurismo who was there with a little japanese pickup. Saw @ImaRobot as AI who blasted besides me before taking of with a lot of dust. Rest I haven't seen yet.

It's a colorfull game which looks jawdropping

Seems many struggle with bucket list #23, my first few tries were too slow as well so I changed my route to join the road early, and simply followed the GPS from there. As soon as I did that without crashing into rocks, I finished with about 5 seconds left. :D

Yeah, that's another tough Bucket List for many I'd assume. It took me a few tries to (barely) pass #17 as the NSX simply refuses to go sideways.

I keep getting the cheapy $2000 all the time.

Another question. Can you have more than 1 car of the same model in this game? For example, can I have 30 Ferrari LaFerrari and paint it in different colors? Or this game only allow you to have 1 Ferrari LaFerrari and you have to change the color every time you use it?

Did 2 laps on Golith on Expert Difficulty, and i lapped the AI... When i lapped end of the pack... they were still at Byron Bay.. :odd:

You can own multiple copies.

This one was tough but I got there in the end, though I must admit I did have to rewind a lot on this one.

I suck at drifting so don't really enjoy the drift zone feature, I don't think I have gotten above 1 star on any of them.

The only time I was on target for a 2 star a bloody Mercedes got in me way.

You should be able to, why?

I was hoping they left it as it is - gives the cars more character imo, especially when it comes to drag racing (on FH2 everyone just upgraded to AWD and so no-one dragged RWD/FWD cars). Thinking of buying FH3 but doubt theres a big online drag racing scene like there was on GT5 (I had some ridiculous drag tunes on that game!)

It's probably been like that since FM3. I vividly remember the amount of 510 "GT-R"s in FM4 drag racing :irked:
It wasn't really that rare of an occurrence to encounter someone with RWD or FWD though.

I guess it's about finding a group that like to drag race properly rather than playing with randoms who AWD and engine swap everything.

That's what I liked about GT5, cars could only be upgraded up to a certain point so you had to actually be able to tune it, in FH2 (and this it seems) you can make a dodge dart the fastest drag car in the game by virtue of a drivetrain and engine swap. That, and the inability to host your own room (or set rules), like you could in GT5, is a big drawback in my view. It seems to be all about matchmaking with randoms, which generally sucks.

My GT5 chevelle ss was literally the fastest around in a straight line standing start race, and you had to shift at low revs for the fastest pull - same for the Plymouth Hemi Cuda

the primary issue with AWD swaps is the way the PI system handles them. I notice this when building cars for S and beyond. The AWD drivetrain swap adds 15 points on the PI scale and a bit of weight. Way less than upgrading the tyre compound to the next level, that's for sure. And once you're reaching the 600+ HP region, actually putting the power down becomes a bit of a challenge. My impression is that, yet again, swapping for AWD is the most PI-efficient method of getting a load of power down reliably.

However, I feel like, on lower levels, the lack of power makes 2WD the better choice. In B-Class, some of my AWD cars simply bog down upon launch because they can't break traction at all. Kills their acceleration of the line, of course. Haven't tested this extensively, but with the advantage in terms of weight and drivetrain loss (assuming that's modelled, of course), I'd assume that RWD cars will be preferable when drag racing in the lower classes. Sticking to lower end cars might be a way to circumvent the "everything is AWD" issue, but I dunno if that's a somewhat satisfactory solution for you, @screamopilla.

That aside, you're totally right, though: You can always join an appropriate community.

And chances are, someone will make a group for FH3 soon for RWD drag.

Edit: Is anyone else finding the Polaris RZR to be a (lethal) joke car?

FTFY. :sly:

Ok, joke aside, I wouldn't call the RZR a joke car per se, mainly because it's as serious of an off-road "car" as all the other buggies and trucks that compete in its class. Unless your main vision of Polaris products involve jet skiis, which in that case may lead you to believe that their attempt at an off-road car/ATV hybrid will go awry.

While I have not played the game myself, I suspect the reason as to why the RZR can be so dominant is related to its low weight figures, small size and CVT-esque (I have read it's not quite a CVT transmission, hence the "esque") transmission. It's more or less a Koenigsegg Regera with (far) less horsepower and the ability to take off-road terrain a lot smoother and easier on the steering hands...

Was in an Online Adventure lobby with [GTP] Corleone or a simillar name. My first online lobby. That was random as

Also some screenshots from tonights action. Crysis710 is a friend of mine who is also a member here. And a sneaky Rokkitshipp joined in the last one.

My reaction after i completed it and then credits rolled.

"THAT'S IT!? REALLY?"
I was disappointed for another reason...I tried to take a shortcut across the lake at the very end but drowned and I couldn't rewind, so I lost. I thought it meant that the final showcase wouldn't be completed...but it was. :(
