So, is it worth the time it's going to take to download, ie it's not just 2-3 races with a set time limit?

It's still a couple of races, but you're not going to care.
 
10GB down after a couple tries at a quick pause/resume. Now hovering around a steady 11-12Mb/s.
 
I have to say they've improved damage modelling. Carbon fibre cars just become scuffed instead of bending (which wouldn't happen in reality), there's noticeable dings in bodywork, and an oddly satisfying thud as you hit other cars.
 
What is 'Drone mode like' they say on the twitter? Is that so you can take high up photos? :) Nearly there 90%

This game looks incredible. Really made a good choice to set it in Oz. Also, what's with all these extra cars I'm seeing that haven't been officially revealed??? Renault Alpine GTA, Jensen Interceptor, Jaguar XK-E, GTA Spano???? Holy fudge!!!!! :D

The bottom section that is playable width ways is 6.2 miles with a simple right to left waypoint I just set.

I feel like this map won't feel that much bigger (if at all) than FH2. But what's in it is making me question if that's even an issue :)
 
It´s an awesome Demo... Looks great and it runs so smooth it does not look like 30fps... Awesome job done Playground Games/Turn10... Again...
 
The map, even from this little 1/3rd tid bit still feels like it has a lot of life in it, esp. when much of the off-road trails barely feel marked by the GPS. There's bound to be a lot of hidden gems in the game.

It is a visual feast, but the sounds feel like a tremendous improvement. There is some slight exaggeration of the exhaust backfiring visually, but the actual audio is ear-gasmic. The M4 sounds so much better than even in FM6, hearing the cackle & the turbo spool.

Wish there was an easier way of switching the cars in the demo unless I've missed it. Eager to try the 350R next go-round.

Possibly Tomorrow when the XBox Play Anywhere program officially goes live.
 
I'm downloading now. Are we able to do manual shifting? I didn't like the auto only in the FH2 Demo.

Yes, manual shifting is in under difficulty.
 
Ok maybe a stupid question but do we know what cars are in the Motorsport All Stars pack? I know the VIP has the Aventador SV, Regera, XR8, Evolution 1020 and the f12tdf but what about the other one??

Oh I was hoping it may have included the GTA, Interceptor etc lol. Never mind, guessing it will probably either be day one DLC or following Tuesday 4th October. Birthday coming on the 14th October- this game and moving into my own place will be unreal :cheers:

Probably the Oct car pack. I am hyped about the Jensen Interceptor. I loved that thing in GT5, was sad it did not return in GT6
