Well it looks like we'll all have to wait.... but hey, I'd say Grand Turismo gives pretty good entertainment for the buck. I guess we will eventually get the Red Bulls, maybe. :( Otherwise I think people on here are ready to storm the PD offices. :lol:

Gt6 is good in my book. Have any of you played GTA5,COD Ghost of BF4? All of them have horrid customer support. PD has at least made a attempt to make its customers happy.

I'm sorry, the 50% was a typo, I'm very tired (it's 12:36 am or 0:36 where I live). I meant 15% as B-spec and the track editor are still big parts of the game.

This is the attitude of a lot of people.
To me it just sounds like the argument is that nobody will be happy so let's just pretend that it's a good game.

But I believe that feedback is essential and PD have been on the right track. I'd love to see the game that they've promised to make, the game I feel I've paid for, and I'm going to be disappointed until they deliver. I feel that the feedback of a community has the potential of guiding any company in the right direction.

First off, I love the game.

Second off, they have been listening. (Ability to have 2 cars in photos, removing wings, etc.)

Third, you keep saying PD promised you all this. Show me one single quote where anybody from PD actually promises you a single thing.

They aren't Gods. They can do their best but if you aren't satisfied there's many other options out there

Dont forget they are giving us free cars along with increased payouts and login bonuses.They could have gone the way of rockstar and made the game pay to win by nerfing payouts among other things.

Just keep in mind that those of us who bothered to pay attention knew that there would be some content that would not be available at launch and some that may not be ready for 6 months or more. We had the option to wait before buying if that was important to us but many of us choose to buy it right away and enjoy it now while allowing them to update it as time goes by.

I have no complaints at present, just looking forward to the next update ;)

So you're saying that I have been under a rock for the past 6 months.... Wow. If you read my post past the first sentence, you would have noticed that I take both sides of the aisle, one side being what PD did. It would be illogical to wait for the game to come out complete when you can have access to it now like a beta. I knew that some of the content would not be included thank you very much and I still bought the game. I think the game is really good even though it is not 100% complete. I am looking forward to the new features being added just like everyone else is.
 
Of course PD do a pretty good job with this series but in a lot of ways its like Christmas going by and not being able to open a present, it feels like we've been cheated even though I'm sure the cars will come eventually. Anyways, a lot of people although they say their angry really do enjoy playing the game, that's why their angry. If they hated the game they wouldn't even complain on a website dedicated to the series!
 
That's one member taking a vacation. Anyone else?

I have heard the delays have been because the events require you to double-cross your team-mates and then pretend that you did nothing wrong, so Polyphony thought it best to double-check with their legal department before releasing it.

I'm not trying to be a burden (as my post was just deleted), so I want to make this quick and simple without pissing off a moderator; just assume the event isn't coming out tonight (or day wherever you may be) and just leave it at that. Complaining about it every raging minute isn't solving anything and is just making you look worse on GT Planet. I, like most of y'all, are a bit irritated at the fact that this event isn't live as I was wanting to play it at least once before tomorrow since I won't be on until around noon, but notice I'm not complaining consistantly on this thread or any other thread. If it's not out tomorrow, then you are all welcome to an X lobby that I will make to calm the anger if this gets out of hand.

I feel sorry for Riccardo having to be second fiddle to Vettel but I hope he wins races. Meantime I'm debating if to buy a red bull from the dealer or just wait and do these whenever they get unlocked and try to get the free one.

Personally I'd buy one from the dealer. The original X2010 prototype is my favorite.

Problem is how will the X2014 handle if it will be like the 2011 or not. From the looks of the rear wing being flat I doubt it but who knows.

Did I say that? Was I even responding to you? Perhaps it is you who should read a bit more.

My post was not directed at any one person simply pointing out that any who payed attention should know that the game would ship without certain features and that they would be added over the coming months via updates. So far we are getting exactly what they told us we were getting pre-launch

One thing for sure; thks to the earlier glitches I was able to buy X2010 and X2011 cars to play with until the X2014 comes out. I just hope the timing requirements to get the car are reasonable; 1:03 for Suzuka is crap!

In case others are curious, as of this post, it's 2/1/2014@1600hrs here in Asia.

This event will become available on 1st of January. - this seems like a statement to me, meaning it should happen on 1st of January, it doesn't say This event will become available in 2014 or anything like that.
