Probably not. I could be wrong here but I think they normally use EST when talking about launch dates and times. So we might see the slideshow as early as an hour or so from now, but more likely sometime in the middle of tomorrow.

You're probably right.

I'm watching the Japanese version of the site. It says the 12th, but it would be funny if they released it on the 13th to conform to US timezones.

PD, using foreign timezones to buy extra time to release in their home market since 2014! :D

Actually, as long as they release it before 11:00 AM EST it would still be the 12th in Japan :p Those sly foxes...

Edit: Update! 12:10 AM EST, no slideshow. GAWD PD!!! Why can't you get anything right why isn't it out yet you said the 12th! jk ;) but it doesn't look like it's coming at midnight.

GT6 will release the car this month. I'm sure of it. For the sake of all the complainists here.

If they can't manage a slideshow on time, there's little hope that they can manage actual content.

It is now 4:55pm in Japan. Either they're working late tonight, or it's not coming out on the 12th.

My Japanese mate told me that he used to work 14-15H per days, so that is why he decided to escape and come here in the UK. They have maybe 5 more hours to do it or it will be tomorrow !!!

As some people already mentioned above, PD never said the content will come May 1st, saying that they missed the deadline is pure madness since their deadline is the last day of May.

If we don't get the content on June 1st then i'll join the people with the swords and axes.

We've been down this road several times in the recent past, and every time we got burned. Red bull content (By the skin of it's teeth) Track in Spain (now 3 months late)

If we actually do get the Senna content this month I will be very (pleasantly) surprised.

Oh no, I'm reffering to someone from the NASCAR thread last year and his inability to hold to his word.

Remember I won that bet...but he's gone now :sly:

It's just the slideshow today. Sony are responsible for all the websites, and marketing in general, I doubt PD had much to do with it except perhaps choosing the pictures.

So it's Sony's fault more likely than PD not being able to get a slideshow done and delivered. I mean it's a two way street so I see both equally possible.

Maintenance on the 14th (Wed), I never keep up with these things, does maintenance mean seasonals, or potential updates?

I recently happened across an instance where the whois data hadn't been changed in ten years, despite the website changing hands... Caused the website to go offline because the registrant couldn't be contacted for renewal.

But that's irrelevant. The website might well be registered with a "PD domain email", but PD are wholly owned by Sony, and it's likely that sysadmin is a Sony employee anyway. Do you really think that PD have a full global localisation team? Only, it's not in the credits...

We can hope that it is for the slide show.

Could I have the link to the website as I have lost the link I had.

Ahead of the “Ayrton Senna Tribute” release planned for late May on the PlayStation®3 exclusive Gran Turismo 6, the following content has been added to the special website.
