Rally tracks in Circuit Experience giving you hell mate?

Yeah, when you try to set a good time, and after a jump you lose control and hit the barrier and have to start over again.. Over and over...

Been there already. The one with the Focus Gr.B was torture for me, the Gold Time had to be done while doing the jumps at full throttle... and every... single... time... *sigh
Hell is an understatement. It's not even a factor of difficulty either. Well, I guess it is considering I genuinely dislike the ice gravel physics.

I was doing Fishermans' Ranch with the Lancer and it's bad enough some of the sector trials took multiple attempts because the car is....all over the place and then some, but the full lap is really trying my patience I know exactly what to do to get gold but I don't trust the game enough to allow me to do it. :banghead:

I saw a Super GT video where he tested the updated stability after jumps, and it looks decent now.
No help to you of course, too late! 😂

For good manors I did Sardegna one more time and my car ended up bouncing down the straight on that nasty hump. Not decent at all, it wouldn't stop lol. I take it at max 160kph because it's always a mess and now it was worse :banghead: Maybe you need to take it faster for the stability fix to kick in  Whatever, enough of the rally nonsense.

Yup!!! Please fix the lobbies PD!!

I'm part of @XSquareStickIt crew over at Car Of The Week; soon to be on GT7!

For the last couple weeks my GT7 routine was doing a few races for the daily ticket and to get enough money to get whatever was added to the UCD, and now there's even more cars on rotation and it's easier to get credits so yeah! Very happy.
Just make sure to check that any cars in the UCD aren't also sold as new in Brand Central. There's some strange 'new' cars.

Such as Viper '02, Copen, RX7 etc. It's a bit of a hassle checking before you commit to buying.

I mean the game is ok but it's basically GT4 with less features and in 4k. They haven't changed much at all since then other than break it a bit and add microtransactions. I often wonder what they do in the office all day, because it takes them 10 years to recompile GT4 for a new machine :)?.

Yesss and no.

I'm enjoying the increased payouts for races and experiences etc, but the career is feeling a little empty. I want to see more championships and cafe menu races.

GT4 with better graphics is what loads of people have been crying out for.

Better, but the FFB and grip physics still need fixing before I'll be anywhere near satisfied.

Yes, I'm just being very selective as to which cars I use for now, which is a shame. Most of the porsches, and ferrari are just almost uncontrollable if trying to register a competitive time. Haven't tried a lambo yet, but suspect they're tge same (going by what they were like in previous gt games). Gr4 upwards seem solid.

I know I said my piece already, but you know what would make me happy now?

Deleting rally from the game. Get that ** the ** out of my life. I hate it and I hope it dies.

Upset? Me? I'm perfectly fine, I don't know what you're talking about...
I like rallying and the Group B cars are really awesome. They should only tweak the dirt physics a little. If you don't like rallying then step aside and let ME enjoy it.

As for my happiness regarding the update - yes I'm quite a bit happier, in fact I got exactly what I asked for! During the outrage when the payouts were almost halved I said they should return the endurance races with big payouts and which win you cool cars.
BAM done. I also said they should increase the used car dealership and the legendary dealership. BAM done! I also asked for better payouts of the high profile 10-lap races - BAM done.

Noice.

I am partly satisfied, but I was so even before 1.11. None of the updates affected my satisfaction in a meaningful way.

I wasn't moaning about the money, because I don't really care for the LCD stuff -- what matters to me are the new machines, and online experience.

From the very start Matchmaking and Online experiences were quite good IMHO. The rating system is OK, the ease of use is very good -- problems are with the people themselves, for which I will not blame PD for.

What I really-really want is an opt-out from BoP in main Gr3/Gr4 races (i.e. Dailies, Championships -- see my thread https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/petition-separate-class-for-those-who-can-tune.406956/ ). I don't care what consequences it would entail -- expulsion of opt-outing player from the rankings, 0 money rewards for such races, etc -- I just want to make my car mine and attend the main events that PD is preparing for us.

Making a racing game where player is detached from his equipment is very odd. And BoP rules always boil down to one car dominating (in Gr3/4 at least -- in 500PP BoP is a total carnage), and unless you drive it -- you're heavily on the back foot. This just ruins all the fun :(

I understand some people don't want to tune, and that's fine. But I think it isn't that big of a deal, especially that "GT1", "GT2", "GT3" leagues exist and could be expanded by "I wanna tune" modifier. The same applies to Dailies, where people are already being sorted into different categories (platform, ratings).

This is my crusade and I'll keep saying this until I win, or I die. :<

I am very happy to me their was major changes for the better, they deliver what they promised, good way to start weekend with

Do we feel the economy is fixed?
For me there it was not necessary to fix economy. More important is to fix the online mode. We are still not able to save lobby settings, we do not have a woriking BOP etc. THIS ist what PD should fix.

Thats all that needs be said really. You guys can criticize them all you want but in the end you have no idea what is going on in those offices.
Come on… GT5, 6 and sport all had functioning onlines with the ability to change track, car class and host migration so lobbies don’t die when the host rage quits.

Literally the bare minimum they had to do was carry over the GT Sport netcode into a game running on the same engine. Inexcusable.

Not really happy my problems are still here, still no way to get a 2jz engine unless I pile luck on luck, roulette is still rigged as ****, there's very few daily races and they only update each week (I was expecting more dailies and some with daily race update like we used to have). Cars are super unbalanced some are nearly impossible to drive while some are glued to the road. Still not really happy with the state the game is. Also the basic tuning of the cars are terrible from what I understand and I can't get why PD is doing that.

T
The AI being "easy" isn't the problem... PD can make the AI better than even the best players in the world (it has already shown - Sophie), and this certainly wouldn't be fair for literally anyone.

But on the other hand, they did implement a difficulty selection system, so, hopefully a 3 pepper difficulty level may be added to the game. If you didn't notice, the highest difficulty level is missing 1 pepper (it has 2). As it is, for us more experienced players, it's still too easy.

Difficulty aside, PD has to work on the AI itself.
It's way too dumb... They don't even obey blue flags when I lap them and they strictly use the racing line and racing line only, they barely try to avoid you and they hardly if ever try to defend their position... That needs a huge improvement.

And the "chase the rabbit" rolling start race has to end... True races are either with side by side rolling starts with the field all close to each other or grid starts. It's about time qualifying is added to this game... This is a racing game ffs.

EDIT: The guy I quoted was deleted? lol
Totally agree mate we need am end to that start last **** races and the guy in first is half way done with the first lap before the race even starts as compared to the chilli races which are way more fun and offer good challenge imo cuz of the variety of the cars the ai use

Glad to have a bigger pay out doing races, love Le Mans so I'm happy to grind that with 800k/race... I still feel the dealership is lacking in selection; brands and models.

Honestly haven't been online very much since gt5/gt6, mostly did fun cruises/races on nurb, sarthe and spa & just doing big skids on the top gear test track was a blast with a full lobby. I gave GT7 lobbies a try and it's just not the same.

1. Happy that PD have fixed the in game credit system, although I still think online payouts and custom race payouts need to be adjusted.

2. Driving physics need to be fixed and I hope this is being worked on. Snappy and lift off oversteer is still a problem.

3. Online lobbies still dreadful.

I just tried it after the update doing a Fisherman's race and the jumps have been improved for sure... Now I almost know that I can't go sideways into the jump or I will get rekd (as I should), but before this update, even going straigh and landing would cause the car to bounce and lose control, sometimes even when I jumped while lifting way before...

I should've done those Rally Circuit Experiences after 1.11 and not before, should've waited for the inevitable update fix... Would've spared some sanity from me.

But yeah, the Rally physics are not quite there, but, you can still adapt to it. I am constantly changing gears while drifting in pretty much all Rally corners. I upshift when I want the car to remain stable and go straight.

I saw a Super GT video where he tested the updated stability after jumps, and it looks decent now.
No help to you of course, too late! 😂
I saw it too... And yeah, now it's done.

Absolutely, but largely because the career mode was such a highlight. It looked and drove well at the time, but that's not what most people seem to remember.

It's unfortunate because the career is the one area in which GT7 seems to have dropped the ball the hardest.
I like rallying and the Group B cars are really awesome. They should only tweak the dirt physics a little. If you don't like rallying then step aside and let ME enjoy it.
The problem with GT rally is that it's not really rally. If it's a game mode that you're having fun with then great, but as a simulation of actually driving on dirt it's pretty pathetic. It's another one of those things that really doesn't add to the air of realism that the game tries to create.

It’s not even close to GT4.
It’s like GT4 Prologue with less features.

Cool. I'm unsure how you can like gravel that thinks its ice, but you go right ahead and enjoy it. I'll continue to want it removed or entirely overhauled as it isn't rally in the slightest.
