Honda Integra=JDM
Acura Integra = American Market, different headlight design.
Honda Integra Type-R is hottest:tup:
Acuras dont exist in Japan.
Starting Credits, GT5P had like what 15-18k with NO used car dealers, so we might get 10-12 with used dealers.
35 is wayy too much, you can practically get a new sports car.
Edit: just checked GT5P IS 35K, with no used lots so maybe 15-20 with used lots??
In the context we're talking about, it's the only definition.
It really depends on the credits I guess. Cause ideally, I would love to start with a Nissan Skyline GTS-t Type M R32, you know the 1989. Reason being is that I had a lot of good memories with that car in GT4.
A bit of trivia for you. The slim lights you see on JDM Integras are actually a result of a mid-life refresh in around '98. Before that, all Integras of that generation (no matter where they were sold) had the 4-eyed headlights. North America didn't get the revamp.
I dug out the PS2 and fired up GT4 today for the first time in a long time, mostly just to have a look around the car dealers. Aside from being surprised how little I'd actually played it compared to earlier GTs, and how many cool cars there were that I'd forgotten, I found that I'd used the '89 GTS-t Type M as my starter car in GT4. Always enjoyed the RWD Skylines in the GT games.
So, what the intended audience is, US in this case, defines what country the manufacture is from.Good one!
In the context of a game based on reality, it is a Japanes car sold in America. It is not American.
Close; the 4-eyed look was only on the '93 and '94 models in Japan, the Type-R brought the more conventional lights in when it showed up in '95. Come to think of it; the Integra really lasted a long, long time, with only very minor exterior detail changes over the years. My mom still drives her fairly clean '95 around and it still feels pretty good.
So, if the starting amount is 10K, I imagine there won't be a lot of Premiums available. The Cappucino, some Keis, and maybe the FC or 3rd gen Supra? An older NA Miata? If it's 35K like Dave mentioned, that really cracks it wide open; you could get a nearly new 350Z, STI, or Evo for that price. Which seems like overkill for the beginning. Hmmm...
Not wanting to start an argument, but the Wehrmacht was mostly made out of the same kind of people that you'd find in an Allied army. Not every German was a member of the NSDAP back then or shared the Nazi ideologies, you know.i hope they make some classic japanese cars like the FC3S, S13/S14, 180SX and AE86 premium. i would be a shame to not model these fun cars but give premium model status to things like that VW van or the Nazi army vehicle. UGH! i shiver at the thought of it!

Well duh, that's what I was saying!why does it matter if it is a nazi vehicle anyways, you can enjoy their engineering without sharing their ideologies
i was trying to add to your argument, but i guess i quoted the wrong personWell duh, that's what I was saying!![]()
Then again, we don't know if there will be a, uh, premium, on Premiums. Will they charge more for the higher quality models? Will the last-gen ones get a discount? Or maybe the idea that Premiums won't be available in the Used lots is true too. It really changes the strategy when approaching the game. I won't be buying many (if any) Standards on my first run through until I'm satisfied with trying all the newly available cars, so I hope I'm not forced to pick one in the beginning due to lack of competitive options.
I asked the same thing a few weeks ago when some people were 100% positive that they would never drive a standard car in the game. I even asked, what if it was required for a license test, and I never got a response. I don't think, though, that PD would want to force people to start off in a standard car, since they obviously are not very proud of them. We know that atleast 1, '90 RX7 is premium, and I think that will be well within the starting credits, as it has been in all the other games.
