London snowed!!!

At around 330am..

Big deal as i have never seen snow until now. Too bad its all melted now tho.

It's been snowing on and off for the last few days here, not thick though and it's barely settled. There's still some on the garage roof though.

I wish i could see what snow's like.

It's a beauuuuuuuuuutiful day today, about 25 - 30C at a guess, not a cloud in sight. Still in a jumper and pants though.

Great. There's a big arctic air mass moving into my area today and tomorrow. It will be around 15 degrees F Friday afternoon with a windchill of -3 when I pickup my M Roadster.

So we have the warmest winter on record in NJ... until the day I get my soft top car which I have no snow tires for yet. And did I mention there may still be snow on the ground?

About 30-40 cm. of snow now here, temperatures which has been between -20C at night to about -10C at noon. Norwegian winter, gogo!

And as soon as we get the snow, 4/5 hours later it's gone, and the next day it's all turned to ice!! Damn it.

Well, you don't go to England for the snow, do you?

But incase you didn't know, I'm actually Belgian but I moved to Norway 2 years ago, no regrets 👍

I now speak Norwegian, Flemish, English and I'm learning German at school. Acting or not, finding a job won't be difficult with those stats I think 👍 (I hope...)

Oh and last year the winter was far better, we had a meter snow in January last year Best winter I've ever had in my life 👍

Got carried away I used to speak French, but I'm amazed how badly it become when norwegian took its place, but then, one does have enough time to take it up again later on 👍

It's absolutely freezing outside tonight. I've jsut got in from the cinema and I can hardly move it's that cold.

On languages French is limited to "ferme le bouche", honestly, my French sucks. I can speak a some Spanish, and a bit of German. and I can understand some Italian. I know a couple of phrases in Polish, how to say them at least, not the spelling.

Damn it Sureshot got the 1000th post at 1:45am.

I was very hot last night, i woke up at about 2am, went back to sleep and had a lovely dream about crashing a car into a dam , and woke up at 5:45am, still sweating, went up to the window, banging my head on my bed, looked outside, it was just getting light, but nearly the whole sky was covered in clouds, went outside, all the sudden i was cold. I checked the temperature, bah! about 12C. And it's the middle of Summer, i went back to bed where i was hot again and played my psp.

All the snow melted. Now its just nasty puddles all over the place - and in the morning, ice patches - and its just near freezing.

I don' know, you've to go to school and I'm still on sick leave. I can't go on holiday whenever I want. Remember the Belgian infamous bureaucracy?

What would your parents say if an older (than you) GTP member comes to visit you? I don't know but I don't think they're going to like it.

It started snowing again this evening -- just in time, too, because a friend of mine got his S12 200SX back from the repair shop a couple of days ago, after missing out on the first two real snowfalls.

In similar news, another friend of mine -- who used to own a Camry and then an Accord, and now owns a Celica Supra -- has come to terms with the fact that he feels much more secure driving a RWD in the snow than a FWD. Heh. Another convert.

School went back today. And it's cold (about 25C), and i don't have a school jumper, and have to wait til Wednesday to get one.
