Down here in Surrey we still have nothing, maybe a centimeter or two overnight though, fingers crossed.

I have a maths AS exam in the morning though so don't want toooo much (not that we will get much).

I have my beast of a mountain bike for my round tommorow so no problems there, 235mm tyres for me. ;)

Slick tyres + Ice and Snow = :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared:

Yeah, could be interesting, especially the corner with cobbles :nervous:

Ooh, C1? If so, snap!

Yep, C1. What exam board are you with, I'm AQA.

MEI (OCR) for resit fun times  I wonder if the school closed, what would happen to the exam, because everyone else would sit it, and the answers would be on the internet. Must have to come in at all costs

Snowing here in Brum.

5.30am commute in an E30 on soft compound summer Yokos on the rear will be interesting.

If you can't get there however the exam goes ahead anywhere in the country then you will have to do the June exam, already looked that up. ;)

Damn, I don't want to wait to June, otherwise I'll sit C4 and C1 at the same time! Thanks for the info

How can England have snow while Ireland is just bloody cold. Even a dusting would suffice, anything to grind the country to a halt.

Just woke up a while ago and I can confirm there is snow in London :D . But apparently there's Sun tomorrow and Ice/Snow on Friday.

WTF x 2

Snow is due on Wednesday but the temp doesn't look like getting near zero °c. So there'll be snow flurries to get all the kids excited and dreaming about snowball fights, sledges and making snow angels, only to be swiftly followed by nothing on the ground but slush and deep disappointment. Yeah kids, there's your mud Slush Puppy, enjoy.

Nature can be brutal... :sly:

Snowing.

Read on twitter that today is also the first day Tokyo has got snow this winter as well. Which is strange considering how far away it is.

It stopped snowing here at about midnight which left a 3-4 cm dusting. The rain came a few hours later and melted whatever was left.

I can imagine there would have been a good amount of snow here if the temperature was 3°C lower.

Sliding down the driveway instead of driving down it was fun this morning. Can't wait for the temps to increase. Just two more days of this crap...

We're working at a steady "chilly as a motherlover" out here today, I'm thinking something around -5c.

I take it all back. It did snow today. :D Though not for long, and it didn't settle.

Yep. Started snowing at school today but it was only settling in a few places, and the pavement/road was not one of them :grumpy: . It wasn't cold enough today, I guess...

Last Friday I brought the garbage can to the end of the driveway and couldn't walk back up. I made it halfway and slid back down.

You lucky people!

We in Perth just had our hottest night since 1989. The minimum temperature was just below 30 degrees C at midnight. It's also insanely humid... It feels like I'm drowning.

Hate this.

Riding my bike to work this morning in 30 degree (F) temps, I dashed across the street to get to the post office and rode up on the sidewalk totally not expecting it to have a sheet of ice across it.

Should get back into the 60's & 40's this weekend. Can't get here soon enough...

Looks like we're going to escape the snow down here. Once this week is over we'll be back in double figures* at the weekend.

*centigrade, clearly.

Was the coldest week on record for 25 years in CQ last week apparently. Still didn't snow or show a sign of ice.
