When I shift my character is still reaching for the shift button like usual

If you want to nit pick - the Volvo C30 engine description is wrong, it's an inline turbo FIVE (T5) not a 4 cylinder. I know because that my wife's real life car.

Can't race karts on tracks with time/weather change (except in a handful of career mode races).

I've found a few little errors like that, although its nit-picking, I can't help finding it really irritating.

There's no point in having details of each car if they get the details wrong - so you just have to make-believe in your mind anyway.

Well, it actually IS wood. The top of it has just been painted black for aesthetic purposes. Look at the side skirts in this picture.

You can clearly see the wood grain.

There is also a posibility it could be made out of Jabroc. Which is the same material that is used for the lower "plank" on a Formula 1 car.
It is a wood laminate, that is put together similar to carbon fiber. Layered with high grade epoxy, and then cured under heat and pressure. What you are left with is a relatively light weight, extremely strong, and very heat and abrasive resistant material, that can easily be shaped or machined into almost any shape. Its great abrasive durability is what makes it such a fantastic choice for putting on the underside of a race car, where it will come in contact with the road. It wont fray or shred like carbon fiber will, become deformed, get hot, or spark, like metal will, or deform under heat and pressure like a plastic would. Here are some exampled of Jabroc on a race car.

So, yes, the Diablo GT2 diffuser is "wood" or a wood based product.
Wow that's really interesting. Thanks for putting that to rest.

If it is about nit-pick i have a few things that actually make me feel that PD is really lazy at times. How even though they have a base premium model car, they still do the face lifted editions or the ones with slight changes to performance standard. How they made the RS versions of the Evos premium but still kept the standard ones. How the shadows did not get improved at all and just blurred out so you couldn't see the jagging. How a lot of corners where cut (quite literally) into making some models. The NSX premium model looks like crap. How the Mine's GT-R standard model just has the wheels too far into the wheel wells (that one actually makes me sad, and it also happens in a lot of other cars). How the Evolution 6 has a stupid rake to it, and no matter how much you fiddle with the suspension's stiffness the Evolutions just feel really spongy and soft (that one happened on GT5 as well). How the sound of the Challenger R/T is really bad and actually made it difficult for me to drive (i drive with no PD gages because Solo vives una vez) and how it's top speed is about 115 MPH even though it can do 140 in real life.

Why on earth would anybody want to grind and grind and grind until they'd saved up 20,000,000 credits to buy a beautiful old XJ-13 that's been ruined by some a******e who's etched Gran Turismo logos all over it?

After a severe take-of (I think this may be at Flugplatz or near there), the front wheels (not just the tires) dig into the asphalt upon landing.

There's one without the GT logo as well, check the next page of the dealership.

The thing that I find really distracting is the flickering head & tail lights on the AI cars at night.

That PD can only do standing starts with a field of the same cars (Red Bull Challenges) and rolling starts with mixed cars and always put the best car out front. And that a Red Bull Challenge race with standing start is harder than a Red Bull arcade Race with a rolling start

Annoying backfires on the diesel prototypes... i.e. Audi R18

Custom wings on the RUF BTR '86 appear to float when looking back in cockpit view. :indiff:

Yes the engine is producing 600hp and the total weight of the vehicle is 600kg

Just bought and tuned one, I'm only getting 189 hp and 620ish kg. Maybe they nerfed it on 1.04? Or am I doing something wrong?

GT6 is like Microsoft Windows.

If you're in a race and you want to STOP, you press the START button.

He's still on 1.00 or 1.01 or whichever it was and it's not 600hp it's 580 something if not less, IIRC.
Or he hasn't driven it since the update. My Cuore was 580something hp after the update that nerfed it but I went to change the oil like an idiot and the power dropped to 180something.

That explains it. Thank you.

the cars have insane amount of magical grip , after the long downhill straight, sector of Trial Mountain track, coming up that left uphill over yellow PAINTED lines, with tires that are probably at 300 Farenheit from their top speed prior.

cars oversteer and understeer on every other corner on every other track in this game.

My car loses speed going downhill on Cotê D'Azur...

What?

The single most annoying thing in gt6 is that the rev counter doesn't go past the max when you tune up the engine beyond it. Some stock cars even have this problem! In gt5 some cars did like the Clio v6, dial maxed out at 8 but it would continue to go round to 9. Bought a v6 in gt6 and they have caped it at 8k like most cars. ruined the car for me and had to de tune it to max out at 8. It's such a simple thing to fix. If they are going to let you camshaft the hell out of an engine get the details right.... Please can some one from gt planet raise this with pd in an interview. Please pleeeeaaassse.

Monaco has reversed gravity field. Why do you think all the rich dudes take their women there?

I was in a lobby with some friends and I typed in chat, "Does anyone know why my car is ignoring the laws of physics?"

You can still go over the top dial in the '02 NSX Type R. The only one able I've driven so far.
