Just an appetizer to begin this fun event on a good base.
It is just a quick tune but it's relatively easy and fast. Need to check some others options with time during the week.

Thanks to @GT_R2223 who did this wondeerfull livery .

Ride height inches 3.94

Need a transmission flip // final gear max // top sped mini // then individuals gears ratios //then again final gear ratio in this order.

GOOD luck and good fun.

Man that Camaro is fun. Just slowly managing to control the car on full power with tune of my own. Standing at 1:13.5 around 150th with anything but clean lines. Slamming the pedal to main straight just to outrun the shadow of a plane makes you feel like a super hero. But this thing is just as brutal as my lines on the video - very american..

Have to try Praianos basetune tomorrow and see how well I can modify that to my liking. 👍

I took a spin in the Ferrari tonight and managed to get it down to a 33.5, that was good for 65th at the time but it won’t last long there. There’s still a lot more there but I didn’t have the patience to push it any harder tonight. It’s a fun combo, she’s quite the Spicy Meatball. :)

Just tried the Camaro, stock, for comparison sake (649hp 1,732kg) and managed 1:15.541 after about 5-6 runs.

Now to try Praiano's tune.

Good grief! I thought I was driving on ice, over 1,000hp.
Tried reducing hp and did a lot better, then tried TC at 3 with full hp and improved again, so used TC @1 and kept improving so I removed TC altogether.

Now on 1:11.920 but wish it was a little less powerful. May try reducing hp again.

Kept the full hp, changed FG to 3617, may have helped not sure,
improved to 1:11.620 for #30th. I need a rest.

The Camaro in stock setup is such a handful to keep under control. I absolutely love it. Ran a 1:18: xxx, mostly sideways... Cant wait to give @praiano63 tune a go later this evening. I haven't really driven road cars in GTS. My go to road car is the RX7. Could someone please suggest other road cars with similar handling characteristics as the ZL1.

Edit: @praiano63 is currently at P6 with a time of 1:10:605. Great driving Mr P.

I spent most of yesterday's track time testing the Camaro at the lowest power & weight settings, since some of us here wanted to mix it into the Gr. 4 cars. But after seeing this time trial, I'm thinking I feel a little "sick" & can't make it to work today.

But I love the car so far. It's the most controllable handful of a car that I've encountered in the game yet.

Gave it a try. Best so far is 1:17:691. I had around 675 HP & as little weight as possible. Indeed a handful.

Now 1:17.327, with a possible .280. Woo-hoo, #1563 ranking.

1:16.405. Rank #1231
1:15.441. Rank #902. Probably as good as it will get for me.

Not much for tuning myself, so i threw the Ferrari around for a few laps. It was a fun combo once i got used to the car..... hopefully i can get some time in over the weekend to go from driving fast around the track to attacking it lol

G'day gents. Had a go at one of the new time trials this morning. I have to say I am finding the Ferrari much more challenging to control with the DS4 than the GTO in the previous challenge, it feels waaay more lively and it seems very fine/smooth inputs are required, I am struggling a little to control the oversteer and still carry a good speed. Managed a 1:34.575 for 322nd at this stage, will probably try to have another go tonight I feel I may be able to sneak into the 1:33's after a few good practice sessions with some luck.

Try taking your sensitivity right out of the DS4. I lowered mine all the way to 2.

Camaro TT

New PB 1:11.374. small wall hit on last turn, so lost little time there. I think that the opt was 1:11 flat.
Tune is in the end of the vid. Transmission tune is from praiano, rest of the tune is my own.
Just could not get the handling of full praiano tune?? Felt very slippery. Needs totally different driving technique than my tune

They really should have limited the Camaro trial to stay within the designated N category. Given that the stock setup is pretty decent, and the car is a beast already, i think it would have been more fun to play around with the power/weight proportions rather than to just max it out.

Hi people.
I researched the Camaro Zl1 1LE tires and found that the following was used (for 7: 16.04 Nurburgring lap): exclusive Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3R summer-only tires. What do you think would be the equivalent tire in the GTS?
Should I also set some specific settings to try to beat that laptime? Or was that laptime (7: 16.04) achieved with what we would call "GTS stock settings"?

Cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut... CUT EVERYWHERE !

Has there ever been any online TT with a live leaderboard at Maggiore where the front runners haven't cut corners to gain an advantage? Simple answer is No :P This track is cursed due to the track limits being rewritten by unscrupulous drivers who will do anything to get a top spot on the leaderboards ;)👍

But the track limits are the same for everyone. What's there to complain about?

Depending upon who you ask, it's an extreme summer tire. Looking at the tread design, it is a borderline race tire with some grooves cut into it to qualify as a street tire. It was designed to compete against tires like the Pirelli Trofeo R (came on the previous Z/28) & the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup series. All of them have very few grooves, but are listed as street tires. Now, with all of that said, it would likely be equivalent to the Sports Soft tires that the TT has us limited to. I'll run few more TT just for fun, because I can not get anywhere near the times of some of the other players.
