BB Raceway in the Honda, what a shocker.

The 'Ring, or somewhere with some teeth fair enough, but 30 seconds of racing in one gear, give me a break, and I thought racing the Chev was a bad race.

Anyway 38.907 and that will probably be my time in two weeks time. Very disappointing.

Don't know how long that will last.

I don't know what the joke is, nor what your question is, but as we clearly state in the article, it's the regular car and not the "Color Variation" car.

That seems odd, is there a difference between them other than color?

You can use one of them in this time trial, but not the other :D

Otherwise, nope. As I recall, you can't even put the CV into the livery editor.

You're telling me...
Just fired up the game to see the new TT options.
I can't remember when I ever saw a race when your exit speed from turn 1 determines your pace crossing the line for the next lap :crazy:

Is there any way to see your final results once the event ends? I'm sure there is but I can't find it.

Man, I thought that I was still way off the pace after watching praiano63 video. Until I realised that it was not from the TT and used RSS tyres.:)
Will test your tune for sure

My F1 TT time. 1:32.837. Tuned full down force, max power and light as possible. All else stock BB2
Used cockpitview for this beast. slows things down a bit. Tip. Learn the DRS zones and push the button before you enter the zone. Or you most likely miss some time,

Saved replay for fastest lap

Real game capture for 1:33.9 lap

Just a blast to drive, and will get back on this one for sure. ;)

Now, the Honda. It's also fun, but track is so short, that boredom will rise its head fast...
Notice, that to be fast, you need to use the last turn to get max speed to the record lap.
0:38.921 BB2

I had some laps at Suzuka and I don't usually tune the car myself but on this occasion I gave it a go... and it's not too bad! Early days yet but here's my best lap and the tune I used which is a work in progress for now.. Great combo this one! Those top times are wicked fast 👍

For the gears I done the usual final gear to max and top speed to minimum and then adjust the individual gears and final from there

Yep, and take the outside lane at the last corner to get faster over the line for your next attempt if you're behind your ghost at that point..

Managed a 39.007 in the Honda, feels like it would actually be a fun little car on a decent circuit. One corner demands a bit of attention to get right the rest of the track is a bit of a snooze, can't say I have ever lapped a track in the same gear before.... what a bizarre time trial lol

Edit- into the 38's after a few laps this morning with a 38.986

Just got in the 39s

The guy in 1st doesn’t even brake, just hits the barrier at the 75M mark

1:41 with the F1, the DRS is worth 5-6seconds, though it has some strange ideas as to where it’s used
in mid corners  used hood cam to try and judge the turns easier but ended up riding some of the kurbs, cockpit view is probably quicker once you know the layout, the last corner is kinda blind.

Adjust the height of cockpit view to high position. Helps a lot.👍

I don't know if it is happening only with G29 but i have some difficulties with the F1 on suzuka.
I don't feel any dead zone in the wheel , my TV is setted in game mode to have a more responsive wheel input , but i still find a lack of precision in the wheel inputs.
This is very specific to this car and track combo , turning very difficult to nail the S section mainly.
How other's wheels users feeling about this ? I would like to know please. TGT , Fanatec .... and others top wheels.

G29 here and dead zone is very small but works for me, or I am just use to it.

After using DRS and take some few ideas of the suspension from the fantastic tune of @Glidelator (Big congratulations really) , i'm 3rd under the 1:30 with a 1:29.8xx easy.
Icould be faster than his ghost till after the S but i have to work on the second part and nail the final chicane. Can be done , quesstion of time and interest . Ok for me today
