Quick go (8 laps) in the red pig tonight (first GTS time trial I've tried). 2m41.987 and 2202th. Exactly 11.0000000000000 seconds behind the fastest time, almost like I planned it :lol:

That's at Max power but only at level 3 weight as need to accumulate more mileage points to go higher.

No other tuning yet except for changing manual tuning to fully whatsit auto.

Lap uploaded in GTS using tag cutback73 (not that anyone will want to view it obviously :O).

I used the Toyota TS050 Hybrid in Gr. 1 Super Lap. This was the farthest I could go in this online time trial and I thus recorded this video to prove it. My lap time here was 1:21:398 and my rank was 1345.

I agree & sympathize with @praiano63 about tuning being dead in Gran Turismo Sport, and I think it's dead because it's never allowed in the game's official Daily Races. There just isn't much point in tuning when it's only allowed in offline races and player-hosted custom lobbies. I understand & fully support the concept of BoP with regards to power & weight, but I sure wish we could tune other aspect of the setups (suspension,differential, gearing, downforce, etc.) instead of only being allowed to compete with the default setups. Real-world race teams make mechanical adjustments to their cars to suit different tracks & different drivers, all while complying with BoP regulations, and I'd love it if we could do the same in Sport Mode.
 
We should always have Tuning in the 2 Time Trials events we get every 2 weeks rather than one TT event. Sport Mode races should all have tuning, and I still can not understand why PD does not let you tune in the Daily Races, and PD calls this a Real Driving Simulator and you can not tune in some events :crazy:.
 
Really looking forward to the next trials ..... did / doing terrible at these tracks with these cars! Thought I'd do well with Gr. 1 at Brazil but no, really awful :dunce:.
 
A 3rd place now with a new setting , i have reduced my camber to gain braking capacity. It pay a whole second less on my lap. Also some little suspension modifications.
For the gearbox still the same
it's a classic trans flip
Final gear max
top speed mini
Then each individual gear ratio
Then final gear again at 3,200

You can use the 1st gear for slow last chicane and hairpin but you need to perform the out of those corners in 2d gear.

Thanks sir! I'm 62nd, but completely missed the last chicane by braking way too late.

Taycan at Tokyo

Lancia Delta at sardegna. Gravel???!!! Tuning allowed

After the Red Pig, the Taycan was bound to be next. Although I thought it might be at the Nurb.

Certainly mixing it up with the Delta in gravel :eek:
 
(Sorry, just noticed - should be only one "n" in tuning)

Sigh, freaking double letters in English always mess me up :(. It's fixed now and thanks for noticing
