This is some kind of baked corn mush. Pretty good.

I've never had it, but it sounds great!



My local homecoming is currently going on, with that they have a carnival 1 block from my house... which yes that means I walk over and get fair food for four consecutive days. That has consisted of:

• corn dogs
• lemonade
• strawberry slush type drinks
• fried oreos
• pulled pork sandwhiches
• nachos
• some meat on a stick thing
• funnel cakes duh
• and about to be some more fried oreos

A few days ago, I blended a pine apple, a golden kiwi, a very big handful of raisins and raw chestnut honey.

There is a few, but the closest is 20 minutes away. I used to live right by one which was nice.

Homemade dough, caramelised red onions (can't see them), prosciutto di Parma, basil and cheese.


And also a simpler, smaller one for our daughter, which she helped making:

Just ham, mushrooms, tomato sauce and cheese.

I'm from North Dakota. The weirdest thing we eat here is venison.

Although I have had calamari, which wasn't bad, but that isn't a whole octopus!

You must try it if you ever get the chance, then. Besides, most of the time they are served already in small cubes, so it's more pleasing on the eye.

Calamari is made with squid, by the way. Their taste is different enough for one person to like one and hate the other.
