I shouldn't have clicked on this thread when I'm dying of hunger and know that I won't have access to food anytime soon.

Bruh... That's a lot of food

Dinner was the other half of a Gino's East sausage thin crust from this weekend.

I was still hungry so I pulled this out of the freezer:

After that was a watermelon wedge and a S'mores Klondike bar.

I have always wondered if Chicken and Waffles were actually any good? Do it take a certain taste bud to like it?

It's a very good combination, I recommend trying it.

I'd love to find a place around here that makes a decent c&w, until then I have to stick with the frozen stuff I had last night. Or buy a waffle iron and make my own.

Me before trying them: That just seems weird.

Me after trying them: OMG, this is so good. Can we come back tomorrow?

Now I wonder if I can combine it with the joy of pizza. What about a buffalo chicken and waffles pizza?

I also thought chicken and waffles seemed like a weird combination. Then I tried them and wondered why I had not done so earlier.

Made some tacos tonight! I used turkey to cut down on the fat, then buried it in sour cream. Mmmm healthy. The sauce was just so so, something I bought from Trader Joe's, I wish I had picked up some Taco Bell Hot Sauce.

I was pleasantly surprised at how the ground turkey turned out. I cooked it with a packet of Ortega taco seasoning. I can't really tell that it is not beef.

I just bought this and tried it out with some chicken fillet strips and fresh mozzarella...

The mozzarella was a good plan as it kept the heat down while I was eating and I didn't think it was that hot... unfortunately once I had finished it roared back with a vengeance and 20 mins later I'm still feeling the effects. I only had a teaspoonful of the stuff, but I can still feel it in the back of my throat - and my guts are starting to grumble a bit now too. I'm planning to use it mostly as a marinade for stuff, but it is considerably hotter than the other hot sauces I use for marinades (Habanero Tabasco and Marie Sharp's Habanero hot sauce), so it might be a bit too hot for that!

edit: 2 hours on and my tummy is making some very disconcerting sounds

I'm drinking mineral water instead of tap water.
I eat gelatin.
I eat anchovies.
I eat chia seeds.
I've added turmeric, cumin, more black pepper and more rosemary to the spices I use.

I picked these up at Trader Joe's. I wasn't sure what to expect. Beneath the heat was a hint of BBQ flavor. While they are the hottest potato chips I've ever had, they weren't painfully hot. I'll buy them again.

@Touring Mars does the bottle have a scoville rating on it?
I've had a fresh Tinidad Scorpion chilli but not a sauce based on them, from my experience often sauces can be hotter than the actual chilli.

It doesn't, but it does say it has a 'brutal sting in its tail' - as did I  I enjoyed it, it was very tasty and it was just about on the right side of edible - but it did upset my stomach (and other parts) a bit - still, I've had worse and I reckon so long as you don't over do it with this stuff it should be fine, and I'm planning to use it as a marinade for lamb.

👍
That's the main part, I really enjoy hot food but don't eat it just for the sake of it. It needs to taste good also. Some chillies are guilty of this, the heat being the only redeeming feature while tasting like crap.

At the moment having a dish of Chinese dumplings after getting home late like usual.

Went to a place called Fazoli's in Champagne Illinois for supper. I can't remember the name of the food I got, but it was pretty much an equivalent to the Spicy Italian from Subway. Great food :D
Hmm, if you don't mind me asking, are you on the Hotrod Power Tour? I've been to that exact Fazoli's while on the tour.

Are you on some kind of vacation!? Long ways from NoDak... keep going south and west to visit me!

Anyways, I am eating cookies out of a vending machine. Soon enough I will be eating McDonalds Sausage McFluffins and Hashbrowns!
Sorry for the long wait for a response, but yes I was on a trip for national archery in Louisville KY. Fun trip if you ask me 👍

Anyways, for lunch today I picked up a sandwich from Subway. Steak & pepperjack cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, jalapeños, and spicy mustard with raspberry tea to wash it down
