Pancakes, Bacon & Maple Syrup along with a Latte. This was the mid morning snack after washing two rugs with the VAX Carpet Cleaner.

Steak strips with potato gratin

The potato gratin took over 2 hours to make, but it took just 3 mins to cook the beef.

The absolute key is to cook the beef in individual portions - I cooked Mum's first before cleaning the pan and doing my lot, and turning every piece individually so both sides of each strip are cooked to the exact same time 😅

Lunch was homemade burgers. The patty is from Sam's Club store brand and it's good: moist and with the right amount of fat. I'm a believer of putting the lettuce and tomato below the patty, and I also like a spread of mayo on the bottom bun, with mustard on the top bun. I had a glass of Tecate beer and some potato chips.

Edit: That's not a fried egg, is a mix of melted cheeses: Cheddar and Monterey Jack.

Forgot the pepper jack…
Oof, I could drink a cold Ginger Ail. Bunderberg though not Canada Dry or Old Jamaica Ginger Beer.

Got some chicken cooked up (no oil) and making a Cherry Tomato, Roast Garlic, Sweet Pepper & a little Parmesan Cheese blended to a sauce after roasting in the oven. Some cooked pasta, a little sauce and chicken maybe a cheese garlic bread.

Then an Apple tart with clotted cream ice cream to finish.

4 Burford Brown Eggs slow scrambled (no salt, no pepper, no milk) butter while scrambling then once it starts to form, off the heat and keep scrambling until a soft but firm consistency. Once you reach that point add some cream cheese table spoon or so and mix into the egg. Serve and eat.
