Vegemite and Marmite are probably the two worse things I have ever eaten and I've had my fair share of weird, disgusting food. I have a fairly unique taste and typically don't mind odd foods but really, how can people eat Vegemite?

I have a Vegemite and Strawberry Jam mix on my toast. Vegemite is awesome.

My dad puts Vegemite on Mashed Potatoes, which is kinda strange. They also used to have these little tubs of Vegemite that you could pack in your lunch box and eat it raw with a little plastic knife, that was the bomb.

Guess it's a regional thing since I never grew up with it. I'm sure there are plenty of American things I eat that people elsewhere would find odd.

There is an American Supermarket near me that sells all kinds of wierd stuff (to me), and 90% of the stuff has Peanut Butter in it, Oreos, M&Ms, Cereals, Ice Cream...etc.

Vegemite is good stuff, I from time to time eat it raw, but small amounts. Would never put Strawberry Jam with it though....

A big mistake a lot of foreigners make when they try it for the first time is spread it on thick like it is peanut butter or Jam or something.

Midnight snack was a peanut butter sandwich, and since it's not Vegemite, I spread it on thick they way it should be. Glass of warm milk and a few cheese crackers.

I had a ton of cha siu bao yesterday at a late lunch and then came home and passed out from the itis.

Got lucky tonight, had smoked ham, mac&cheese, greenbeans, new potatos, and yeast rolls...:sly:
As opposed to old potatoes?

Here's my mid-monring meal. Its large, due to me doing legs at the gym this morning, and not eating enough at my early morning meal. That was oatmeal and supplements.

In this pic, we have Eggs (3 whites, and 2 full), fresh chives from the garden, Broccoli, Chicken Breast, Brown Rice and a few dashes of Soy sauce.

Keep in ming, that's not a regular bowl, that's a serving dish.

I'll eat something small (Yogurt with L-glutamine supplement) before the workout (noon) and then a big shake after the workout.

Brunch was homemade breakfast, um... 'brunch' burritos. It was the last of my homemade goose sausage put to good use.

Saturday night had some pho at Pho Ca Dao. Probably the best pho I’ve had – not as salty as other places. I’m always disappointed though in the amount of tripe given at every place I’ve been to – I want at least half the meat to be tripe!

Yesterday had some katsudon at Niban. Surprisingly filling, although the cutlet was soggier than I would have liked (I know, I know, the egg, but still…).

Tonight had some dol sot bibimbap at Friend’s House Korean – quite good, although the supplied hot sauce wasn’t strong enough (though sometimes I wonder if my Thai taste buds taint my sense of pungency and spiciness in other forms of Asian cuisine).

I just found a huge black hair in the bacon part of a Jimmy Dean biscuit sandwich. Yum!

Ate at Dumpling Inn. Delicious, especially the Xia Long Bao and deep fried curry dumplings. A bit pricey though for the whole meal.

If I'm ever in San Diego, we need to hit up the dumplings and carne asada fries.

Definitely! :) Plenty of good food here. Too much good food – I’ve had to start running every morning now so that I don’t gain too much weight.

Come on now, you're never gonna gain any weight eating food like that. Asians aren't skinny because they work a lot, it's because their food isn't sticky enough! Start eating like Der Alta and get some meat on them bones. And throw in a pound of fish or chicken every now and then for some protein.

This is an example of food that's too sticky. It's all deep fried. These hushpuppies gotta weigh a quarter-pound each...

Apparently whoever took that picture already ate the hushpuppies. Yum!

Fried Country Ham,Pinto beans,mashed potatos,red eye gravy,bisquits, and Iced Tea. 👍
Except for the pinto beans, I'd gladly pull my chair up to that table! Been entirely too long since I've had red eye gravy...

Well, I don’t lift 100,000 lb. weights either. ;) I’m content with being a skinny bastard.

Ate last night at Tofu House. I normally dislike tofu (or at least don’t care for it), but sundubu jjigae always makes tofu taste delicious. My only complaint is that there’s a Tofu House several blocks up the street that seems to do the spiciness thing better – I ordered the most spice (my bowl looked like a pool of blood from all of the chili), and yet it wasn’t notably spicy. I like though that this location gives you pregnant shrimp in the seafood bowl, and the sundubu seems to be a slightly higher quality.

That’s just an image from Yelp – mine was way way redder than that. The color was more like the kimchi in the background of that image.
