Thing 1 chose to go to Red Lobster for his birthday so lunch for me was Surf n Turf - the ass end of a lobster, the ass end of a cow, mashed potatoes, green beans, Ceaser salad and a Coke. No ice.

I never use the term 'saute.' It's always 'fry.' They're pretty much the same thing. The only difference with frying is you use a lower temperature, don't char the food and cook larger pieces. You 'fry' a chicken breast 'til it's nice golden brown, but you 'saute' cut up veggies and put a 'char' on them. You fry a fish fillet, but saute shrimp.

I prepare Lyonnaise potatoes all the time (usually with steak). The correct term to use is 'saute' since you use high heat and want to put as much 'char' or 'crust' to the potatoes as possible. But, I still use the term 'fry.'

Yesterday was Sunday, so it was a chicken roast. Made way too much veg and roasties so tonight it's bubble & squeak with pork and mustard sausages from my local butcher.

It's a fat American kind of day. McDonald's double quarter, large fries, and two hot and spicy chicken sandwiches with cheese. Keeping pumping, you poor old heart.

That sounds delicious. Legit.

St. Patty's Day leftovers. Corned beef, mashed potatoes and gravy with grilled cabbage.

For brunch, I had a monterey jack cheese sammich and some low salt Fritos with two bottles of Arrowhead.

Beef and cheddar cheese enchillada's with spanish rice.

Since this meal, I've had nothing but a conred beef sandwich on rye with mustard and two handfulls of Lay's Garlic Cheesebread chips.

Can somebody say HUNGRIG!!!

But, I'm controlling myself. Gonna make my usual spinach salad.

Ceviche!! my uncle made it, and it was all gone in less than an hour. He made almost 8 pounds of it, and every one in the family went for 3-4 large bowls of it, and I had 3, and almost a whole pack of tostadas!! I love seafood. Not too spicy not too sour, just right.

For my birthday, I prefer ceviche over birthday cake

Had a McDonald's breakfast as usual.

Also had my first root beer this morning. Tastes like TCP. :yuck:

Brunch was three handfuls of lightly salted cashews and a plain matzah. Haven't had dinner yet, but when I do, it will be a defrosted homemade beef and cheddar cheese enchilada and some leftover spanish rice.

Just had my (2nd) daily McDonald's - spicy wings. :D

That stuff is like crack to me, I can't get enough.

For breakfast:

Kefir mixed with:

* maple sirop

* dried cranberries

* raisins

* oatmeal

* muesli

* walnut

* Brazil nut

* pumpkin seeds

* sunflower seeds
