I pulled the most piggish trick in car buying.. couldnt decide between the Pearl Blue and Pearl Yellow LFAs.. so whatd i do? Bought them both of course! The expense from the second car obliterated my plan to RM an ISF but hmm.. most epic V10 exhaust note this planet has ever heard in a beautiful body vs. Fart can ISF with giant wing? Not hard to answer if you enjoy the thrill of pushing a road car to its limit

I've bought more cars in the past few hours than I have in the last 3 weeks:

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren (19inch Wheel Option)
Honda CR-X SiR
Nissan Silvia K's (S13)
Hyundai HCD6 Concept
Mazda 787B Race Car (it was inevitable)

Bought a Tesla roadster just to see what it was like and it felt strange driving without having to change gears or hear an engine. Its not as slow as I thought it would be either able to lap Tsukuba on Sports Hard in a low 1'04 onaly about two seconds slower than a stock Ferrari California.

I've been on a standard car buying spree from hell the last few days. Over 10 evos, 2 MR2s, MR-S V, Corvette ZR-1, NSX Type S Zero 99, Skyline GT-R MNP III, 3 Honda integras (one is a 0/0 from a 1000 ticket), C4 WRC from finally beating the Loeb Challenge, My 2nd X2010 from beating the X Challenge, etc... And there's many more cars that I wanted to buy from the UCD but I need to save some cash so I upgrade all these machines. :)

I bought a Lexus IS F Racing Concept... had a hard time choosing a color for it... but in the end I decided to paint it red :)

Erm, do you want the bad news (if you didn't know)?

You win it as a prize car for BSpec Nurburgring 4h.

I found another 2004 NSX that was a gorgeous yellow so i picked that up.. then a 2002 RS6 sedan (intend to drag race this with the R8 V8), bought my 5th SLS and second NSX type R

Yev

Wasn't that the Premium Amuse S2000???

//goes to check the prize car list//

Woops... you are correct :ouch:... nevermind :) I got confused...

Anyway... back to topic... some days ago I decided to get the "penyless" trophy, so I bought a bunch of cars to get it... those were...

Audi R10
Citroën GT
McLaren Mercedes SLR
Camaro Z28 '96
AMG Mercedes CLK GTR Race Car

From 11+ Million Cr. to 0 in about 5-6 minutes :)

Today I got the RUF CTR “Yellow Bird” ‘87 from the UCD, first one on my way to collecting all five.

Bought a 458 Italia.

Photoshoot mode.

Zoomed on the rear lights.

****** in my pants.

And that's about it.

i am going to buy a bright pink and bright green LFA lexus and use the paints on the Murcielago SV

my B-spec bob bashed the back end of my #3 LFA this morning.. hit the brakes on Daytona and the Nardo behind him went square into the back of it, the rear bumper looked like someone gave it a solid uppercut cuz it had been pulled out.. i need to stop giving the B spec bobs my LFAs.. :banghead:

Cusco Subaru Impreza
Lexus IS-F
Toyota Altezza (thinking it was an IS..)
Chevrolet Camaro SS

Took me to 200 cars.

bought the wife some flowers for the garden and my kids "bought" her a mom charm, and a couple more Rx-7 on GT5

I bought a Suzuki ALTO Works (Sold it), Mini Cooper S '05, and some Mercedes... (Sold it after 10 minutes)

The Mini is awesome on Dirt! My new rally car right here.

Funny, this is how I ended up the first time I drove the Yellowbird too.

Today I bought nothing, yesterday however I bought a Lancer Evo. Just the first one, I'm trying to collect two of each model (excluding the rally cars). I don't mean to boast or brag or anything but I've found I go quite a long time without buying anything since hitting the 1,000 car mark, there's just nothing left to buy. Engine and chassis restoration costs more than enough, however. I do hope they add more cars before GT6, that would be awesome.

I don't think I've done a single chassis/engine rebuild on any of my cars in GT5. Is it actually worth it/is the difference noticeable? Like you said, it's very expensive and the extent of my income comes from self-grinding Daytona in American Championship for 97,600 cr. per 3min 38 sec.

It depends how long it's been since the car had a rebuild. My X2010 currently has 1318bhp because I've never rebuilt it in the 50,000 (possibly an exaggeration) miles my Bobs have done in it, which is over 200bhp less than it could be! As for the chassis, you may not notice the car's handling getting worse, but you will notice the post-fix difference if it's been left long enough. Sometimes you have quantifiable markers to tell you your car is going bad, for example I noticed my Ford GT Spec II Test Car couldn't take Indy flat out any more as it would understeer into the wall, I got it straightened and it was fine again.

As for it being worth it, if it doesn't annoy you and still wins races, I wouldn't bother. I only do it to freshen up the cars I like so I can drive them closer to their stock capabilities.

Bought the Enzo today and even tuned I wish I hadn't...such a waste of Cr. and I personally think that this car could have be alot better.

I agree but I don't think it is a good supercar in reality. Ferrari has gotten similar lap times on their test course with a 430 Scuderia, and people who have driven the car mentioned understeer which it does in the game. Although a lap time of 7:25.7 has been recorded for it on Nurburgring Nordschleife...

Understeer is being polite...for the first time ever I had to lift off the throttle around turn 2...just shocked me completely...well I'll have to do DCC again to recoup the loss of which I don't mind and who knows...maybe a better car will be bought :)

Probably what Eddie Griffin told himself after!
