People told me when i posted a thread about the GTWC that the gran turismo all stars was harder. I don't think it was! sure, i did it in my F1 but the races are shorter and the AI cars are not as good. :scared:

You should find it easy in the F1 car, anyway it is easy, I keep doing the Ring race in my Speed 12 and winning, it's close though.

I just finished this series in the last two days and was expecting a headache. I'm not the world's greatest driver but do manage to keep a tight line, braking early, etc. and I walked the series in my high mileage Audi R8. I'm not sure what all the hubbub's about?

I did it in a fully tuned R390 road car, except only a stage 3 turbo, not stage 4. 3 or 4 of the cars you're against are at the same level as in GTWC, the others shouldn't even be there. Basically you have to be just as fast, but in shorter races and against less cars.

I used the Nissan GT-R concept and with dirty oil and RH all round still gets 200 A-spec points, with a stage 3 turbo. Some of the races I won with out the turbo and RM on front.

its because its a really annoying championship. you need to get everything perfect to B-spec it (mine pitted the last lap when he was in second on autumn ring :dunce: )

and my minolta needed a chassis refresh and i forgot, so the ring was a....well...challenge :(

Hiya El Gigante: No offense meant...but did you REALLY expect a challenge using the Formula GT ride? :trouble: Check here / Posts #20 & #26 for suggestions as to more challenging rides to use. 👍
...O.G. :D

This challenge was a B for me...

I was using the MercBenz GTR Race Car... ya... that was a B... I don't know what it was but... a few races took me a couple of trys... because... well...

The car would drive nice... and great... but the tire wear, was insane... I was using R3/R3... and had to pit sometimes 3 times, as opposed to the computers 1 time =/...

It was a thrill and well worth it... Extreme races are nice...

You pitted 3 times in 6 laps??? :odd:. Thats just not right, simple as.

HAHAHA... my bad...I should pay attention... I saw GTWC in the first topic when I was responding... and changed my initial post...

The 3 pits was actually in 1(or a couple) of the GTWC races...

But as for the All-Stars... I am currently racing that, with the Jag LM Race Car... works great... as long as I drive perfect... 1st place w/ a few seconds to spare...
On my way to the BMW F-1.... / joy *^_^*

Chapparal 2J is a great way to 200p.

Nahhh... All Stars isn't bad but Real Circuits is even easier, not to mention hilarious? :sly:

Wait until you try that one

I haven't done these in a while. What do you mean with ?

Well I don't want to ruin the surprise! :)

Seriously, you could take a Group C or high end LM, with an extra turbo if you want....

Find the hardest lineup at Real Circuits you can find (Minolta, Sauber, 92, 89...) on the Ring and just... watch what happens ;)

ah yes, I remember...

ditto...

I did this in an unmodified AMG Mercedes CLK race car thinger, and although it wasn't too hard, I only won the series on the last race, and even then, I nearly lost it... I only needed to finish 5th at the Nurburgring, but was getting my arse kicked severely, and only finished 4th because my main competition (the Nissan R92C) tyres went off in the final third of the last lap... :scared:

The F1 car should only be used for the Formula GT series :sly: unless you want to keep that 100% win ratio
