This week’s new Online Time Trial turns a familiar circuit on its head. Gran Turismo 7 sends the Lexus RC F ’14 around Dragon Trail – Seaside Reverse on Sports Medium tires.
Dragon Trail’s Seaside Reverse layout is making its first Online Time Trial appearance. The standard Seaside direction is quite familiar, but its mirror image is new ground for the leaderboards. Whether the reverse layout actually flows better than the original is often debated amongst users in our forums, and this week’s event is a chance to settle the question with the Lexus RC F ’14.
As for targets, expect to need something under 2:03.000 for bronze, 1:58.000 for silver, and 1:56.000 for gold once the event closes.
The previous event continues alongside it: the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gr.4 at Willow Springs’ Big Willow on Racing Hard tires, which arrived last week. That event closes on Thursday, September 24.

Online Racing Event

Accessing Online Time Trials
If you’re new to these events, you’ll first need to unlock Sport Mode by completing Menu Book 9 (“Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade”) in the GT Cafe; our full unlock guide is here. A PlayStation Plus subscription isn’t required.
Once an event closes, rewards are paid out based on how close you got to the top time: gold within 3% (2,000,000cr), silver within 5% (1,000,000cr), and bronze within 10% (250,000cr).
A new event arrives every Thursday, each running for two weeks, with the oldest dropping off as each new one lands. The next new Online Time Trial arrives September 24.
