The GT7 Online Time Trial has gone full supercar fantasy this week, dropping one of the most coveted road cars ever built onto one of the most opulent circuits in motorsport. The Ferrari F50 meets Yas Marina, home of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Don’t let the glamour fool you into thinking this will be a relaxing cruise, though.
The F50’s naturally aspirated V12 is a derivative of Ferrari’s early-1990s Formula 1 engine, and it behaves like it: responsive, rev-happy, and entirely uninterested in forgiving sloppy inputs.
Paired with Sports Medium tires on a track full of fiddly corners and abrupt direction changes, this one is going to demand precision. And then there are Yas Marina’s track limits, which have a reputation for being punishingly strict. Expect to see a few otherwise-clean laps thrown out because a rear wheel dared to breathe on the wrong piece of curbing.
Time Targets
The world record currently sits at 2:00.152. That puts the gold threshold (3%) at 2:03.756, silver (5%) at 2:06.159, and bronze (10%) at 2:12.167. With BOP and fixed settings leveling the playing field, the gap between you and gold comes down to how cleanly you can thread through Yas Marina’s tighter sequences without tripping the limits.
Continuing Event: Alfa Romeo TZ2 at Lago Maggiore
Last week’s pairing of the gorgeous Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2 carrozzata da Zagato with the full course at Autodrome Lago Maggiore continues for another week. The 1965 coupe on Racing Hard tires has proven to be a charming handful on Lago Maggiore’s flowing layout. The world record has settled at 2:11.151, which sets gold at 2:15.085, silver at 2:17.708, and bronze at 2:24.266. If you haven’t given this one a go yet, you still have until Thursday to chase it down.

How to Access the Online Time Trial
Online Time Trials are found in Sport Mode, which unlocks after completing Menu Book 9 (“Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade”) in the GT Café. PS Plus is not required. Gold rewards 2,000,000 credits for finishing within 3% of the top time, silver pays 1,000,000 credits (within 5%), and bronze earns 250,000 credits (within 10%). A new event is added every Thursday, and each runs for two weeks, with the oldest active event replaced each week. The next new event arrives on April 23, 2026.
