The latest set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges, and one of the last few in the current format, are making their way to consoles around the world as local clocks tick past midnight into Friday.
Weekly Challenges is a bonus game mode, available to players who’ve finished the main GT Cafe career. It consists of five race events from the World Circuits section — four from existing events and a fifth special event created just for the week — with some extra rewards for completing them in the seven-day window.
While we’re waiting to find out more about the changes coming along in Spec III, which will probably be teased at this weekend’s GT World Series event in Los Angeles, you’ll be able to find these events marked with a special green UI element within World Circuits and the individual circuits that host them.

Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges – November Week 1 Races
Pickup Truck Race – Colorado Springs
The lowest-value race this week is also an off-road event, following last week’s break from a chain of them. Colorado Springs Lake hosts it, and you’ll need an appropriate vehicle to take part in this Pickup Truck race. Sadly neither the Suzuki Carry nor Unimog qualify, so it’s Ford F-150 vs Toyota Tundra. There’s no limits on tuning, other than the Dirt tires required, so go nuts if you want to get the three laps done quickly for the 30,000cr winner’s prize.
American Sunday Cup 600 – Grand Valley
Another relatively low-paying race comes at Grand Valley in the American Sunday Cup 600. You can probably guess that you’ll need a car from a US manufacturer — Road cars only, no “Professionally Tuned” cars — but you can ignore the “600” part as that only refers to a suggested Performance Point (PP) value for a close race with the lead AI. Go with whatever you want for this three-lap race of the full Highway-1 track’s reverse layout, with 45,000cr available for the win.
Special Event – Alsace
The wild ride of Alsace’s bizarre Test Track loop awaits for this week’s Special Event, and in the reverse direction too. It’s a one-make race for the Toyota Land Cruiser ’74 and while most of the field should be easy pickings there’s one tuned rabbit that can make life difficult if it escapes from the slower cars blocking it in before you get there so we’d suggest a gentle uplift in performance for this one. It’s a five-lap race with 50,000cr on offer for victory.
Race of Turbo Sportscars – Mount Panorama
If one track with rapid elevation changes wasn’t enough, Mount Panorama is hosting the a race too this week, in the Race of Turbo Sportscars event. As you might guess, this requires a turbocharged car but you can use any you like so long as it’s at or below 700PP. This five-lap race can score you 90,000cr for taking the win.
World Touring Car 700 – Dragon Trail
The traditional WTC event sees us off this week, with the WTC700 — an event where the AI are all driving Gr.4 cars — the most lucrative round. As with the above event, you’re limited to cars at 700PP or below, but you can use anything you like so long as it’s on Racing Tires. Winning the ten-lap race at Dragon Trail Gardens Reverse nets you 115,000cr.

As usual, the three bonuses are presented in the form of tickets which you will need to redeem from your Garage’s Gifts to claim the rewards they hold.
Completing any one of this week’s five events awards you a 100,000cr ticket, while finishing any three increases that to a 200,000cr ticket. It’s a Six-Star Roulette ticket this week for completing all five, which can offer credit rewards of 500,000cr or 1,000,000cr, or a car from Brand Central worth 500,000cr or more — which includes the Invitation-only cars.
You’ll need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie in order to have access to the Weekly Challenges. The events update at midnight local time on Friday mornings, so we’d expect the next set on the morning of Friday November 14.
