A new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges goes live this Friday, September 18, when your console clock rolls past midnight. The format is the same as always, with five events on the board, seven days to get through them, and a set of bonus reward tickets waiting for anyone who clears all five.
For the uninitiated, Weekly Challenges open up once you’ve finished the GT Cafe career through Menu Book 39 and sat through the ending movie. Each set combines four races from the World Circuits roster with a fifth “Special” event, and finishing on the podium in one, three, and five of them drops bonus tickets into your Gifts (make sure you redeem them before they expire). Between race prizes, clean race bonuses, and the tickets, a full sweep is worth around 1.3m credits.
This Week’s Highlights
The Special Event is a Japanese FR Challenge 550 at Deep Forest Raceway, five laps open to any front-engine, rear-drive Japanese car, with 90,000cr for the win.
The headline payout is at Nürburgring GP, where the World Touring Car 900 runs ten laps for anything up to 900PP and pays 135,000cr. It’s also the longest event on the schedule by some margin, with fuel consumption and tire wear cranked up to 8x and 10x, respectively.
The Race of Turbo Sports Cars at Mount Panorama matches the Special Event’s 90,000cr over five laps, open to turbocharged cars at 700PP or less. The Sunday Cup Classic at Tsukuba Circuit is a three-lap road car race for 25,000cr, which leaves the Japanese FF Challenge 450 at High Speed Ring as the low point of the week at just 7,000cr. At two laps for Japanese front-wheel-drive road cars, it’s also the shortest.
The completion rewards have had a slight shuffle, too. The top tier for clearing all five events is a Six-Star Roulette Ticket this week, in place of the 500,000cr credit ticket from last week’s set.

Gran Turismo 7 Power Pack Challenge – September 18 Rewards
Power Pack DLC owners get their own parallel reward track alongside the standard Weekly Challenges, as they do every week.
There’s no fixed list of races to work through. Finish (not win) any three events and all three rewards are yours, and they reset on the same weekly schedule as the main set. They’re a match for the standard completion tickets this week, which means the third tier is a Six-Star Roulette Ticket rather than a credit ticket.
