GT5 Featured in Sony’s Qore Video Magazine on Tuesday [UPDATE: No New Info Revealed]

With less than 30 days until the release of Gran Turismo 5, Sony is slowly beginning to ramp up their official marketing push. Our next source of official information is expected to hit on Tuesday, October 5th, when the latest episode of Sony’s Qore video magazine hits the PlayStation Store. As confirmed by the latest edition of the PlayStation Official Magazine (thanks to Alex for the picture above), our favorite racing game takes center stage. Let’s hope for new information – I’ll be sure to let you know what happens either way.

Further indication of new material being prepared for release next week can be found on the official PlayStation blog, where one of the editors remarks that “new details” and a “trailer” (presumably related to GT5) may be coming as early as Monday. Thanks for the tip, Randy!

UPDATE: SolidSnakeX reports in our forums that no new information about the game is revealed in this episode.

Ah so the revelation is, that there actually isn’t anything to be revealed? Great. Btw. this is not completely true, as SolidX said there were flashes of cars, which could be new.

To clarify, there were flashes of pictures of cars being photographed by Polyphony Digital’s team – not in-game shots.

A friend of mine on PSN said that the TGS demo will be included in Quore. I don’t know of he’s tellnig the truth or not. We’ll have to wait and see.

Quore owners can have it, they certainly pay enough for it! Me? I’ll play the full and final code in just a few short weeks :o) Can’t wait!

Your friend is almost certainly pulling your leg or is getting bad information. Kaz has already said on his twitter that there won’t be a GT5 demo on PSN.

    GAME OF THE YEAR!!!

    and I agree with riph78
we should have a countdown on the page somewhere, maybe to the right of GTPlanet.
that would be a fantastic idea

I hope there’s some info on the track editor. It will be interesting to know up to what extent we could create a new track on the editor.

    1. kyleh613

There are up to 4 sections of the track you set variables for, they include things like turns, hill height, weather, day/night, etc. You can have road or dirt too.

Unfortunately i think that this trailer will be similar to the pre E3 trailer in terms of getting any new info.
    Hope not though

Not going to expect anything new. This is likely to just be a recap of what we have already known for months now.

that’s an incredibly stupid question. Why would anyone want to wait? excuse me for being sick of prologue & wanting to learn a new track & the physics. I didn’t get to try the GT academy demo so shut up if you’re going to come up with negative, unfounded, & senseless comments like that

Ah so what is it now. It’s crazy guys I tell you, I can not concentrate on my normal life without some major news, it is, as if sth. new would calm me down again. I know rather redicilous/pathetic, I can’t change it.

    1. HugoStiglitz_420

Agreed on the countdown. Am I the only one to find it completely rediculous that Qore is not free? Seriously, $3 an episode? We have to pay for their own advertisements? and I don’t care how you spin it, the show is still an ad no matter how you look at it, & it’s crazy that we’re charged for it. PSN may not charge regular users but where that is made up for is by the die hard loyalty us playstation users have to the console and it’s unbeatable game exclusives. If you ask me, they’re pretty much wasting their time with Qore if their going to charge for it
