GTP Photomode Competitions: Week 39 Round-up!

Some small down-time with the GT servers doesn’t stop Photomoders! On this, the last full week of August, we’ve got four new interesting themes, with our usual varying levels of editing allowed. Just like last week, there will be in-game prizes for both the PMC and 2.0, which will be announced later this evening in the Photomode Competitions sub-forum. What are the themes, though? Read on…

Last Week’s Winner: Dance Commander

This Week’s Theme: Everything is A-Oh-Kei this week in our main unedited competition, with Dance Commander requesting Japanese Kei cars on City Tracks. Not sure if a car is eligible? Load up GT5 and check the Lightweight K Car race’s list of eligible cars! Jump to the thread now!

This Week’s Poll: Week 38’s theme was something most Kei cars aren’t even capable of creating: Glowing Discs. Forum user 725 has narrowed down the entries to 25 rapidly-decelerating cars, and now it’s your job to help vote for the winner. That winner will win a mystery prize in-game – the only thing you can bet on right now is that it definitely will be capable of turning it’s brakes bright red! Jump to the thread now!

Last Week’s Winner: LACOSTER

This Week’s Theme: NFS has The Run? This week we have The Chase, brought to us by LACOSTER. Using street cars, he’s looking for those great movie-style chase scenes, where you can feel the intensity right through the image. You’ll need multiple cars in the shot then, obviously… Jump to the thread now!

This Week’s Poll: Last week you were asked to Be The Mog, after one of our winningest members, Moglet. He’s swapped cars twice this year, running a 106 for a few weeks, and now a Yaris, so last week’s H2H-style theme involved users picking one of those and taking it out for glamour shots. The results? See the Top 8 106 shots here, and when you’re done, see the Top 8 Yaris ones too. Look for a final H2H poll where the winners from both polls face off early Friday morning!

Last Week’s Winner: 725

This Week’s Theme: Fresh off his previous win in PMC, 725 wins another, this time, Certain Car Certain Location. His provided theme? Snake Mountain. Take one of the fastest American road cars ever (the Viper ACR) to Trial Mountain, a GT staple, and get a shot highlighting both the car, and the track. Jump to the thread now!

This Week’s Poll: Last week’s theme of Raw Power Exported (care of TVR&Ferrari_Fan) garnered a lot of quality entries, and now there’s the Top 20 waiting for you to vote for the winner. Which of these images best highlights both the Blackpool beast, and the Red Bull Hangar? Jump to the thread now!

Last Week’s Winner: lekoklatik

This Week’s Theme: Unfortunately, as we go to press (heh), the new week’s thread isn’t up quite yet. However, watch this spot (or you know, the forums themselves) for when it does pop up! I’ll be editing in the necessary info!

This Week’s Poll: Want to really fool people with GT imagery? This week’s poll theme of Virtureality does just that, combining GT5 elements with real-world ones to truly blur the lines. Did you know the Scirocco is in GT5? Me neither, until this poll! Jump to the thread now!

All sound a bit complicated? Read this thread for an explanation on how to get your images off your PS3 and onto a computer, and read over the individual rules in each competition’s thread. If you’re further stuck, feel free to Private Message me (click here). Start snapping those digital shutters!

The last picture describes what GT5 is all about:

You only get a small portion of everything, aka unfinished.

Yea but if you notice the numbers on the car the “38” is backwards, therefore the car isn’t going the wrong way
