GTP Photomode Competitions: Week 42 Round-up!

What do we have in store this week? Quite a lot, actually! The Tournament has stopped taking entries, PMC has a very colourful poll, 2.0’s theme is already bringing in quality entries for both sides, CCCL car/track combos being able to even double for 2.0 (more on that later), and the potential for hilarity in this week’s Photoshop theme. Onward!

The tournament is live! Entries have stopped being taken, and now we’re into the nail-biting Qualifier round. How it works: The two polls up this week (PMC and 2.0) are multiple-choice polls – you may cast as many “nominations” as you’d like. Heck, if you like all of them, vote for all of them! But, importantly, only the Top 16 from each poll will advance to the next round (the first of the knockout pairing rounds). Those who don’t advance, well… there’s still all the other weekly competitions!

Important things to note: due to the nature of the qualifier, there are no distinguishing features like signatures in the 2.0 poll. This is to avoid potential favouritism. If you have suspicions over whose pictures might be whose, do not announce it in the thread! Wait until the poll is closed for that. Same goes for critiques – those can wait until everything is finalized.

Now that that’s out of the way… go vote! Here’s the PMC poll, with 26 entries, meaning 10 will be cut by the end. Once you’re done there, head on over to the 2.0 poll and cast your vote. There’s 30 entries in that one, so nearly half will have to sit out the next round. Please remember to view all entries full size before voting, since there’s some serious, mysterious prizes on the line…
