With the second of the three live preliminary rounds of the 2025 Gran Turismo World Series rapidly coming up on us, Polyphony Digital has announced the special bonuses available to players engaging with the event.
This regular campaign has been running since 2023, so it’s likely that regular players will be familiar with what’s going on and how to take advantage of it. For those who aren’t, these bonuses are available to players all round the world for what amounts to a few button presses.
In essence you’ll be able to pick up free cars and some extra credits for your in-game wallet for participating in a couple of actions during the weekend of the 2025 Gran Turismo World Series Round 2 event in Berlin, Germany – the first ever live event in the German capital.
You’ll need to take part during certain time periods to qualify, but ultimately there’s two free cars and up to 2,000,000cr available — even if you’ll need a bit of good fortune for that latter reward.
These rewards come by way of two separate campaigns, both of which you can find in special tiles within Gran Turismo 7 itself: Viewers Gift and Predict the Winners.

Viewers Gift is the simpler of the two, and the one with the guaranteed prizes. You’ll need to navigate to the tile in the top-right of the World Map, click “Watch Programme”, and then click on the relevant “Watch Stream” buttons.
You can only do this between the start of the broadcasts — 1400 UTC for Manufacturers Cup, 1700 UTC for Nations Cup, both on September 20 — and the close of the entry period at 0859 UTC on Monday October 6 in order to register your entry, and the text will change to “Entry Submitted” once you do so.
In fact you only need to click on the button to register; it’s not necessary to actually watch any of the stream this way, and you can use whatever is your preferred method to tune in. The wide entry window also allows those attending the event in-person plenty of time to click through afterwards.
Each of the two streams offers a different reward, and they’re tied to the results. Players will get the Gr.3 car of the winning brand in the Manufacturers Cup, and a Porsche 962C — as used for the qualifying race — in the Nations Cup, adorned with a special livery from the winning country. The cars will be delivered automatically on Tuesday October 7, and this usually occurs around noon UTC.

It’s a little trickier to earn the rewards for Predict the Winner, and the reason for that is right there in the name: you’ll need to predict who wins each of the final races in each event.
Again, this is accomplished through the special in-game portal, and there’s a separate page for each of the two events. You’ll find all of the competitors listed in the two pages, with the 12 Nations Cup finalists constant across the season and the 12 EMEA representatives (except Lucas Bonelli, for AMG, subbing for France’s Noah Lanuza who’ll race in LA) for the qualified brands in Manufacturers Cup.
Using your specialist GT World Series knowledge, you’ll need to decide who you think will win the grand final race of each series in Berlin. If it helps at all, the Manufacturers Cup final is for Gr.3 cars at the Nurburgring 24h, while Nations Cup uses the Red Bull X2019 at Red Bull Ring. You’ll can submit your entry at any time up until the final race starts, so feel free to watch all the other action in each event first.
For each one you get right you’ll land a 1,000,000cr ticket, adding up to a potential 2,000,000cr total winnings. These will be delivered automatically on Monday September 22, again usually at or around noon UTC.
Update: There’ll now also be a tie-in Time Trial, available to all players, using the Porsche 962C at Monza’s “No Chicane” variant like the Nations Cup qualifying race and beginning September 11. A new Daily Race, starting September 15, will mimic the Manufacturers Cup event, in Gr.3 cars at the Nurburgring 24hr and with 10x the usual prize money.
Tickets are on sale for both the Berlin and LA live events now through the Gran Turismo site, though the premium option in both cases is sold out so you might need to hurry to get your seats.
