I loved these trials. The TVR was easier to handle then I thought. The 512BB was fun to throw around.

Used a 700+bhp Supra to drift at Spa but boy, is that G37 hard to drift. Got gold but only just.

Does anyone know… what happened a few weeks back on the PSN Playstation blog weekly update it was posted the GT5 promo videos for the Acura NSX from Detroit Autoshow 2013 and the C7 Corvette promo video would be FREE to download, but where are they???

    1. Pit Crew

The Acura NSX Video is in an Older post. scroll down and choose Older Posts (in bold not show Older Posts ) About Five or six clicks. Its dated January 15 2013 :)

The C7 prototype is a free Downloadable car in PSN store. Is that what you meant?

To gtplanet staff: Apologies for trying to leave a link to address the OPs inquiry.

Cool, two Maintenances. Hmmm indeed. :) But hope others don’t expect theres gonna be some DLC though…

I think this is a PSN maintenance notice. I saw it a few days ago. If it’s a PD thing I think it has to do with the account bans. yesterday I want online in search for Free Run rooms and all of them were swarming with kids and their hacked cars. Some of them went even as far as opening room requesting hacked cars. They never learn…

    3. infamousphil

Saw that too room type Husky. PD should ban them too. Speaking of banning folk, anyone think PD would ban someone for using a hacked car in one of their drift events? I can’t see a hacked car’s advantage there. IDK a thing about drifting but think they should for continuity reasons.

    4. Pit Crew

Uhh pretty sure its not a PSN Maintenance. Why would PD feel the need to address a PSN maintenance in GT5? Never been that way before…

@ TeamCZRRacing HAHA! Me neither. It’s been almost two years since I haven’t gone to public lobbies. I’ve probably clicked on the Online option three of four times since I got the game on release.

I just thought of doing something new and search for Free Run rooms to have fun and test my cars with other people that just enjoy a relaxing drive. Never imagined that up to this date, people were still using hacked cars online. I’m not kidding when I say at least 5 out of 10 rooms had hacked cars or were hacked dedicated rooms.

And what’s about leaving cars parked around tracks? People do that all the time. I never understood that. Are people are just sitting there for hours doing nothing or is it just a glitch?

I see the maintenance is for the online services so I suspect they might be putting in measures to prevent hybrids being used online at all. Obviously Hybriding is something people want to do so maybe PD should include it in future GT’s but make it so that hybrids are not available for use in online races (except specific hybrid races maybe).

Every time I see -TVR- I get reminded of my hope to see the Sagaris in a GT game sooner or later (it was their last car), TVR made some seriously insane machines and their artistic approach to vehicles hooked me instantly, they should definitely bring that one into the GT fold at the very least, for sentimental reasons..

    1. mr_pepps

Fully agree. Let’s see all TVR motors – it’d make a fab tribute and there aren’t too many more to add.

    2. Fire Yoshi

Couldn’t agree more. I wish they would include the Tuscan R, since it’s my favorite TVR model, followed by the insane Cerbera Speed 12. The older Forza games included the Tuscan R…it was sad to see it go. :(

    3. Tdot GTR

Yup I totally agree. I prefer TVR over lotus because they got character. Sagaris is my favorite and hopefully they will include it in the future which could be a possibility because TVRs have been in the series since GT1. It’s a shame TVR died, and I’m a JDM guy

  4. UrieHusky

Oh boy! drifting in stock cars again!

Drift trials were the only thing I was still enjoying and now that’s been taken from me.

    1. UrieHusky

Really? how about you do a little experiment for me.

Go to the Nurburgring drift trial and try to tune the car.

    2. turbolefty78

“and no vehicle or tuning restrictions in the Spa Francorchamps drift event.”
      Quoted from article above.

    3. Pit Crew

@UrieHusky spot on my friend. Since the Hybrids were caught infesting TT and DT leaderboards, this would seem to be the new standard for the 1st of 2 DTs. PD supplies the car, we supply the technique. :indifferent:
