GT Sport Daily Races: Broad Bean BMW and Racing Through Japan

This week’s daily races head across to Japan’s race tracks and highways, while there’s an oval challenge for street cars.

The longer endurance Race C this week features the Gr.2 cars. Polyphony Digital introduced this category — so far only for top-class Super GT cars — last March, adding three older cars in November. The race takes place at Fuji International Speedway, complete with the chicane at the Dunlop Corner, for a full Super GT experience.

Sitting in the middle ground is Race B at Tokyo Expressway. You’ll need any Gr.4 car from your garage for this race, around the squared-off Central track. It’s the regular clockwise version, as you’ll find in the Circuit Experience. For now it seems the vehicle of choice for the event is the Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.4.

Race A is a bit of an unusual one, staged at the second-shortest track in the game: BB Raceway. You’ll have a specially provided BMW Z8, which only arrived in the last content update, for the race over 12 laps of the compact oval. It should all be over in the blink of an eye, as laptimes sit in the low 30s range.

All three races will run through to Monday, March 4.
