December might be the time of giving, but January is the time of getting. Every year, after one of the busiest shopping periods on the calendar, retailers offer huge discounts on all sorts of things — and racing games are among them.
There’s a good chance that many of our readers picked up new gaming hardware — consoles, wheels, driving rigs — over the festive period. The January sales offer a good chance to pick up some software to put them through their paces.
All of the major digital storefronts are involved as usual, with prices for some titles slashed as much as 80%. That means there’s an opportunity to try out some racing games you might not have previously considered without leaving too much of a dent in your wallet.
