i have played forza 3 demo its good for kids not for adults gt5 has anything of sim and of course the best grapix at the moment

    @ Bcb.

Fair enough, but what about the damage and physics?

Any improvement over the last installment of Forza? How does it compare to GT5 Prologue?

  3. bcb

i played the forza 3 demo last night, let me tell you, they have nothing on GT. the tracks look crazy good but the cars look kinda shitty, the interior view is horrible, and the flip over is a joke, it is really arcade like. all me and my friend did was go in reverse, crash head on and flip over, rewind and do it all over again….i’m sure it will be a fun game but it is not even in the same league with Gran Turismo.

  4. Bank Alexander

    And those three videos rock.

Sense of speed looks good and GT5 looks pretty real compared to the real life footage ^_^

  5. Grandia

It has been proven for multiple times that good things comes to those who wait. It’s true since StarOcean4, Tales of Vesperia, Ninja Gaiden tell us so. Need I say more? The rest are masterpiece .. Not long enough, Gran Turismo 5 will be part of the masterpieces.

  6. gooner sems

so that is why i am not a fan of dlcs unless it is an extension to the game like new cars tracks tournaments but not changing the game

  7. gooner sems

@mat by not workin well i mean that dlc’s won’t be new cars or tracks they will be inclusion of new features so lets say you download dlc for damage i bet you it will cost money and more over it will be really heavy and you might play online players who didn’t download it so if you crash into someone your race will end while he won’t get a dent and dlcs also come later so you might be 20% finished with gt5 and that 20& will be without damage or weather or what ever so why have only 80% of the game a finished product (with damage weather liveries) while you can have it all that is what i mean aslo the custom soundtracks will be an amazing feature and with the synced replayes with your favourite songs will be immense

  8. Gar

The scuff marks in front of the SLS in the first video is most likely cosmetic damage… since if you watch the video the driver slightly bumps into the cars ahead of him some times.

  9. TOLL-Scibba-HRT

hi kaz good job with those 2 video they are both amazing to see man does cockpit look so real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. are they going to update GranTurismo 5 Prologue with these two new cars coming out???

    @ Gooner sems.

Download content is boring to download and won’t work very well?

That’s hilarious! How can something be boring to download if you’re getting new content for the game, like tracks or cars or new parts, etc. I mean sure, waiting can be boring, and I completely understand if that was what you meant. But honestly, if they do not bring out any DLC at all thats going to fly in the face of what the majority of games these days are doing. Therefore, I don’t think axing DLC completely is what they have in mind.

What do you mean by it won’t work well? How do you figure that?

And yes, custom sound tracks are a must. 100 percent agree with you there.

  11. gooner sems

i think PD thought they will release the game then keep giving dlc for the game but this isn’t fair dlcs are boring to download and probably won’t work very well so instead they gave themselves another half year to put the dlc s in the unfinished product yes dissapointing and yes they probably delayed it because of the fans complaining about weather and damage so we really should be thanking them no doubt kaz will come and say that in an interview later to explain what happened there are alot of games that we can play during school collegue etc…… and judging by the hd videos and photos this game will score a 11 out of 10 it will be massive oh and btw from march to 31 december you are talking about 2 month so it is not that big a deal and thanks jordan for updating news about gt5 and i hope you resume doing so so we can get more news also i want to ask if the custom soundtracks have been confirmed

  12. Matt

@ Alan: I’m not buying GT PSP because I don’t own a PSP.

I don’t think they’re trying to screw people out of their money. They are the only Polyphony Digital out there, so it isn’t as if they could just outsource the development to another division like Electronic Arts is able to do, being such a powerhouse.

This doesn’t mean I’m not disappointed that they didn’t choose to develop the mobile GT after, and not during, the time when they were working on the full console game. I think that would have been a much smarter move, and would have pleased the bulk of fans like myself who are primarily interested in GT5 and GT5 only. Of course that obviously is not what has happened, so now it looks like we’re left with more than half a year of waiting time to allow them to do the work that could have been done if the mobile GT hadn’t been otherwise consuming their time.

Thats the way it goes. I’m still a fan, and I haven’t gotten any wild urges to buy an Xbox just for Forza 3. I believe we’ll all be proud when the game comes out. They know how badly people want to see the finished product. Call it ”fanboyism” if you will, but I am certain they’ve made the right decision by delaying it. If the final product is well done, you can be sure that all of the naysayers who claim to be jumping ship just because of the delay will be back in no time.

    Onward to March!

  13. Alan

Thats great from polyphony isnt it, they give us confirmation that GT5 will be out this year then make the announcement that they changed their mind and decided to release it in march and give us no apology or reason to why their doing it, then release videos of cars that we wont get to drive for at LEAST another half a year.

Everyone please do not be stupid enough to go out and buy the stupid little spin off game gt psp, its the reason why they changed their mind thinking that everyone will say to themselfs, “oh well seeing as gt5 is so far away ill buy a psp with gt”

Their trying to screw us out of every cent, well screw them, im not buying it, and hope u people wont be stupid and do the same

  14. eric

    @BMfan
I saw the lies aswell. The tracks already have skidmarks on them, So i dont know if these were from the car or already part of the track.

  15. chrisrar

I wonder if before end of tgs announcement of xmas for these regions given that on ps blog a sony rep is says date soon…

  16. icant55

your right max mosely and the braubus rocket ;-) this game might be ALOT better than most planned it to be Pd keeps those cars coming, would also like if they dug in the cratse and brought back the detasemoto pantera, vector w12 and v8 twin turbo, man i can list them all day …

  17. Max Mosley

Now all we need is the the SL73 AMG, CLK GTR Super Sport, SL65 AMG black, SLR 722 & SLR Stirling Moss for the complete set of Super roadgoing Mercs!

  18. gooner sems

no problem pd take all the time you want just make this game the best ever go gt5 or i think it will be gt6 when it is released

  19. HaVoK_

After watching the video of the 458 i wasn’t sure if it was me or what but i seems as if the graphics have been smoothed out alot, after watching the Mercedes i’m sure of it. The jaggies in the interior shawdows and on the door edges are gone, PD have turn the notch up a few degrees in the visual aspect and frankly it looks even more stunning than Gt5:Pro. Regardless of when it coems out i won’t waiver, GtPSP in the meantime for me :)
