    Have to agree.

Seeing Twin Ring Motegi with the NSX on comfort softs brought back instant flashbacks of my nightmares with the GT Academy final race and that horrid 370Z as well, so much so I almost didn’t want to try it.

    But I’m glad I did!!!

Have to say it was much easier and WAY more fun than the GTA final race.

Actually really liked the NSX @ Motegi (all the while having flashbacks of GTA)

It was even the first time I made it on the leaderboards (126) could have been under 100 easy with a bit more time but eh, it was cool just to make the board :-) I’m sure I’m WAY the hell down the list now :-(

Does look like it is partially down. It might be the lighting, but it does appear that the rear window is visible through the opening.

Sad Man :O( – I broke off a Piece on my thrust pedal a couple of months ago, But luckily it still works.

But sometimes my Brake pedal hangs, and than it’s braking like little tiny 2%, but that’s a killer and very frustrating hmm.. :o)

My Red Quick-select dial, has never worked properly, so what’s the use ..

Yaay my edit is displayed on the news. BTW the car is in front of the planter box, the original photo has the same effect.

This GT5 Photo mode is so stunning! Even though Project Cars is a beatiful game, I think nothing can hold up with the GT5 photomode. I think the lighting is the thing that makes it look so real.

what am i doing wrong?i have gotten as low a time as 142 on the new seasonal at tokyo and still no trophy, not even third and i have done below 144 several times, thank you for any help

    1. Amac500

Walls scrub off speed ;) This is a track you really gott’a be on your game to hit fast, because alot of small things can make or real alot of time and there are some throttle tricks in a couple of places the do alot as well, lots of fast apexes

Looks like 60’s race cars are featured too!

    Nice events.

Even nicer photo up there. That looks about 2 pixels away from real.

    1. xMARKITOx

Yes, I was sitting here looking at that for like 2 minutes trying to decide what i was looking at. Im 78% sure the car is just in front, but then again i could be wrong.

PD we need more comfort tire races, just make all street vehicles seasons run on those tires from now on. We have enough online rooms filled with abnormal gripping tires to tide the world over. Nice photo of the NSX by the way, looks like the z buffer is a bit out of sorts near the front right with that wall, I’m sure that wall is supposed to be behind the front end yes? very nice photo though, looks dropped hard, wheels all the way into the wells(totally undriveable on bumpy surfaces i bet). More comfort tire races please, or at least the option to make it that way per the player(s) choice.

I strongly agree with your comment. Too many times I find myself entering a lobby at the 400-500pp range only to find it filled with racing softs. I understand the need for extra grip but at what cost? The cost of numbing any individual characteristics of a car. Making all cars like go carts. It’s a silly trend that will not let up. I love how PD is showing that these cars are meant to be driven on road tires. Even the X1 challenge has you using racing mediums for crying out loud.

    2. fordskydog

      I kinda agree with you.

I like to see the tires matched to the cars. Y’know, comfort tires for regular cars, sports when you get up into the 500s for street cars, and racing tires only for track special downforce cars.

I do not like all the racing softs online…

    3. SavageEvil

I tend to drive on SH and CS a lot, even with 600pp cars. My favorite is the McLaren F1, it’s a fun drive on CS also for added fun I drive in rainy conditions it’s fun until water saturation gets to 30% then it’s hell dangerous to drive too hard, braking distance double and you have to have good throttle control. You feel like you have learned more about your car on CS than you do on those grippier tires. I’m just one person though, but I like the feeling that pushing the car can yield results and just tipping it over the edge can be good or bad depending on skill. Hope GT6 does away with abnormal tire grade quality issues, no more stupendous grip jumps for tire grades. Let the driving aids help those who need it, but don’t buffer it with retarded tire grip that turns the game into go kart pinball racing. I much prefer racing to be (man/machine/skill) versus (man/machine/skill) all versus the course. That sounded a lot better in my head, lol.

Look closely, the edge of the planter is in front of the car, you have to see the depth, it is a very good picture.

  8. ncrthree

These look great especially the oldies.

An idea for a TT is an expert level race like the seasonal 5 lap races but timed with no tuning, one make and with track cutting and AI bashing penalties. Extra points for no aids.

    1. Amac500

I think the extra points for less aids is a good idea, though I do think they should spot you 1 ABS because controllers are hell without them

    1. KiroKai

It’s overdone. The car’s body looks really weird if the suspension is messed up like that, way too huge, out of dimension.

Aside of that, the photoshopping is pretty good, but the wall on the front right of the car is distracting.

  9. Progress823

XJ13 time. Got mine tuned right at 600pp. I guess I will buy another NSX and tune it for about 495pp for the other time trial; I hate detuning cars just to fit TTs and races.

    1. turbolefty78

Why the surprise? These are called “Seasonal” races after all. Are you this surprised every February when Nascar goes back to Daytona again?

  10. helix_9

Has that been photoshopped? Looks really low to the ground and I cant tell if the car is in front or behind the wall on the left. Looks pretty sick though!

  11. Froudeybrand

HOLY HELL! Time Trail and Drift New seasonals never seen that before. (please note this was meant for heavy sarcasm) so no new OCD change this week?

    1. another_jakhole

Waste of Space. Make a thread and complain what the Seasonal Events should be like instead of being a sarcastic numbskull, for lack of a stronger word.

    2. Froudeybrand

Lol trollololololol nah I don’t play gt5 much anymore it’s getting boring unless. New innovative tracks or cars come out.

    1. Xamado7V

Yet, I bet HE doesn’t make dry, cr*p jokes. XP

And YOU are the one posting at 3:10am – so methinks you’re life ain’t too great. : )
