The first pictures from the Le Mans 2010 GT5 trackside demo are trickling in, and it’s very good to see Peugeot Team Sport’s 908 HDi FAP in its 2010 livery is playable on La Sarthe! Six-time WRC world champion and GT super-fan Sébastien Loeb is also on-hand at the Sony booth, and has set a 3’33.820 around the track in the 908. Yeah – we normally have footage from these kind of demos just minutes after someone tried them, but it is many hours since the Le Mans race ended and we have nothing but these screen shots… :S
Not that they aren’t great, but it would be nice to see (and listen to) the car in action…

All 3 Playstation backed ones died. They where faster, more consistent in their laps… only to die on the final stretch. Lol Playstation is getting no love @ Le Mans. They got SCHOOLED on reliability. Funny thing is there was ” Another developer” @ Audi HQ in NY watching the race and had a competition over there… This will be forum meat
Sadly Peugeot, lost. :( I think they got over confident on their car and payed the price. It was disaster! That was a freaken 30 seconds lead maan! WTH!

They could have released the 2009 GT5 prologue version of Le sarthe (Le Man track ) for us to play with in this weekend..
But No! They doesn’t seem to give a rats azz, about our commitment to race the GT series and Race the ACtual Real Life Races that is going on – Just like when K.Y is Racing Nurnberg ring in real life wau he is lucky, But I don’t have a race car or the skills to drive one, but I have a Old version of the Best Driving Sim of all times (GT5p with out Le man), so I tried Racing GT4 yesterday, but Damn my eyes hurt after a ½ hour of Racing with that quality Auch hehe..
Maybe ? we have GT5 for next years Le Man Race ?

I was going for Peugeot today because ever since they introduced the 908 I have fallen in love, but I hope my German soccer club will snatch a victory over Australia.
Yes, very poor Peugeot and the f’n germans take the victory. Was watching the whole night, so like 23h now nonstop..LOL. Good we have Montreal today too and the Fifa World Cup. Let’s go Australia, take revenge!

That time is quite slow. I can get round the sarthe in a bentley speed 8 in around 3.10.
I knew the peugeots would fall apart with such speed.. They are amazingly fast, but thats for a price :-( Audi is winning this years Le Man..
It’s not over till it’s over ! Peugeot is coming closer, they’re much faster.

The Peugeot 908 is an exquisite-looking piece of machinery – but of course that’s typical of french design. I have to praise Polyphony for giving the 908 and Le Mans special attention in their marketing campaign. As a spectator I know I would appreciate the chance to do a few virtual laps at a race I was attending. As for aelange’s hope for an interior view from the 908, I have to speculate that it would be at least as good as say, the formula car in GT5 Prologue, which is excellent.

Gordo, You know what I “love”? The fact that the only damage they show in this pretty lame trailer is on the same car they showed damage on the first time, and the same exact damage (doors, hatchback). GT5 still isn’t getting my motor runnin’, as it were.

Is it ex-DTM or something?
Or, as unsual, no significance whatosever and its just used as a random driving sim + screen vehicle?
AND…. if Sony are always trying to flog to death there new products to sell, why does the driving console infront of the TV with the false inlet manifolds have an old-shape PS3? Surely that laser should of broken by now…. just like mine did :-(

Jeffreypang911/DarthStig1 – I think it’s just that the shutter speed of the camera’s too low and it’s picking up two frames one after the other (as you can see, the foreground isn’t blurred as it would be in 3D).

There is no cockpit view on 908 because it’s not premium car. Damage model is also limited to scratches only. So stop aksing for cockpit vids or pics!
I think, that’s his face, when he’s concentrating on a fast lap. But there may be a second reason: I heard an interview with him yesterday, where he said, he is a bit frustrated he couldn’t participate in the Real Thing this year because of his Rallye-Business. He also said that he isn’t a good spectator, guess he left Le Mans in the meanwhile

he is sad…the car he drove had a minor damage in the front, but yet it made the front touch the ground as he was driving, thats why he is sad…i feel for him
