And HOW am I supposed to drift a race car?
Kinda late posting this but I keep hoping PD would do a historic special event that’s hp/kg specific. I’ve got all the pre (’88-89) and post (’90-92) chicane Group C/JGT cars, ’97-98 GT1 cars, ’99-01 LMP/R cars, ’00 GTS/LM cars and ’03-05 LMP/R cars in my garage just itching for a properly directed session.
However, I’ve become accustomed to PD’s inattention to more era/class specific races so I do what I can online. Suprisingly, some of my friends get it. But, most folks lose interest and leave when they find out they can’t run their favorite “Le Mans” car in my rooms.
It seems PD isn’t interested in setting any of these records straight. For example, the Toyota.GT One (TS020) was a GT1 car when set lose in ’98 but a year later those racecars that looked every bit like modern day Group C prototypes were reclassified as prototypes (LMP) whilst the real street production to race cars returned as GTs.
I don’t mind at all that PD and Kaz leave it to guys like me to educating it’s patronage but Kaz’s initial discription of GT was encyclopedic. I find no museum cards that could assist in educating it’s ignorant. Lol… That was cold?
Anywhoo, please PD… era specific hp/kg special events!!! you’re our only hope.
It would be nice if PD could do a drift event where I could use my C60 Art Morrison. Its a beautiful car IMO and consequently a natural Drifter without to much tuning. Oh well…

Yay, GT500 for a third week running, although now I’d like some GT300 events. Anyways, these look ok, I’ve only done the TT’s and got gold first time on Madrid in my Nissan GTR Spec V (but was comfort soft really a suitable tyre choice for 550pp sports/GT cars?) and silver on Motegi in my Woodone Supra, but from where I’m sitting, shaving another 2 and a bit seconds off my silver time for gold is looking very unlikely!

I really hope they bring all the GT500/300 cars from GT5 (including the older JGTC cars) and put them in GT6, alone with dozens on newer ones. I want more HSV paint schemes!
The top guys are sliding round the corners as usuall, not very realistic if you aske me. Currently 105th on the Madrid time trial.
Alot of GT500´s featured in Seasonal Events lately… But i can´t complain, gotta aplaud PD for still caring about the game after over 2 years.
I am on vacation, but I look forward to try these events on Sunday.

Why? just have more Super GT related events, such as having it as an ongoing race series in the game.
Um I don’t think the OCD cars are half price anymore because I don’t think the speed 8 was 5 mill when they did do it half price.
Speed 8 is waaaaay cheaper than 5 million, more like 290,000 or so. Could you be thinking about the R8 LMS Audi?
@Pit uh, could you be thinking about the TVR Speed 6? or Speed 12? He means the bentley speed 8 le mans prototype, most of them are 5 million

i did the british lightweights seasonal event and the Speed 8 was the prize car, and i did that after i had bought the car at the OCD with discount.
I just we could use stealth GT500 cars.
Does anyone remember when the seasonal’s get wiped..as I have still got 58 of them to do from last year?
I don’t think they have a set date, but I could be wrong. I do know that the old SuperGT race is no longer available. So I would imagine that they will be dropping off soon.
Well the Xmas event was awesome! And TT’s DT’s were fab..I think the GTA was a big help… Pulled out a replay from a long time ago in a lotus RM 04 …same snow track.wiped 4 seconds of it first go..it was my very bestest time a year ago..so roll on GTA 2013 is what I say…hoping To be in top 1000 every event this year…
Motegi is cool. One for the suggestion box: a Multiclass Super GT event featuring premium GT500 & GT300. Would be nice using a GT300 to place as high as possible in a 10 lap.

PD said that they fixed drift trials to avoid cheating and first thing I see is mm-R Cup Car on suzuka with 27k pts. :D well done PD :D

The rally call is awesome! It sucks having them as tt or dt, you dont get any experience for them or any point to point. Kinda defeats the purpose of rallying. Im so glad they put multi-weather races in as i moaned a few months ago that they never out any in, gutted tho cause i only had a few days to get as much from them as possible. Awesome game!
Agreed toko! What’s the point in having a great feature like rally co-drivers only to find that it is barely used?
