More B-Spec Races Featured in Latest GT5 Seasonal Events

In what will surely be much to the chagrin of increasingly restless Gran Turismo 5 fans, B-Spec has once again been featured in the game’s latest Seasonal Events. Here’s a closer look at the new races for your fastest B-Spec driver:

New B-Spec GT5 Seasonal Events for Thanksgiving Weekend

Polyphony Digital knows many of you in the U.S. will be out shopping this Thanksgiving weekend (though they’d likely prefer you passed on those $28 copies of Forza Motorsport 4), so this week’s Seasonal Events take place within GT5’s B-Spec mode.

Gran Turismo 5 v1.06 Available Now: Full Details

The latest version of GT5, v1.06, became available early this morning, and it’s a big one. As promised, remote B-Spec racing (“GT Anywhere“), the game save file bug, and corner-cutting and collision detection algorithms have all been addressed. Notably, the update also introduces “multi-monitor” support, allowing you to play the game using three different screens! Here’s all the details via the official announcement:

GT5 Signature Edition Competition: B-Spec Mode Only

Those of you who paid more than $200 for the Signature Edition of GT5 are probably eager to learn more about the exclusive competition you’re eligible to compete in (it’s still in stock at Amazon, GamePlay, and, of course, eBay). Other than this notice posted on Polyphony Digital’s website, there hasn’t been much said about the most expensive version of the game. What was said, however, was critically important.

As usual, Sony was extremely tight-lipped about the game’s details and did not use the event to reveal any major new features.
