Over half a year after it initially revealed the new Shelby GT500, Ford has finally confirmed the all-important numbers for its pumped-up pony car. How’s 760hp and 625lbft sound?

Getting your hands on the first of something is a unique experience. However, it’s also typically a costly one. The new Toyota Supra is no exception to this either with the first production one selling at auction for a staggering $2.1 million.

Ford has kicked off proceedings at this year’s Detroit Auto Show with the +700hp Shelby GT500.

When we first found out about the Shelby Mustang GT500 back in March, we were pretty impressed. Then in May, we got another sneak peek at it. Now thanks to the a sneaky Instagram user, we get to see it in all its glory.

Ford has continued the slow reveal of the monstrous 2020 Shelby GT500. After an initial glimpse of its angry visage, we’ve now got a bird’s-eye view of the +700hp Blue Oval beast.

The Geneva Motor Show may almost be over (click here if you missed it), but that isn’t stopping Ford from teasing its most powerful production car ever from the other side of the globe. Say hello to the mean visage of the upcoming Shelby GT500.
