PD gives out these little nic-nacs to different areas and people get their panties in a bunch. How about buy the GAME, play the GAME, and enjoy the GAME.

  2. Not_A_Guest

And was there any news announced for the actual game content?
I think that the 23rd was the only exhibition day Polyphony got… :(

It most certainly not. If theres anything you find interesting to collect, I say by all means, go right ahead and collect them to add to your collection, (if you have one though) haha. :D

Not at all my friend. I have the GTR from GT5 and I wish there were an easier way to get this one as well. I’m sure I’ll get but, I’ll have to wait and buy online a few months down the or maybe even a few years depending on how I feel. Got to love those auction sites you can get anything from anywhere.

While we’re getting these cars here in the US, I do find it very interesting that Asia is ending up with 3 US cars. I think they’re amazing cars in their own right, but it’s funny, being that Japan has some amazing cars they could have launched with. Maybe they’re trying to get Asians to experience US cars when they’ve tended not to?

Oh well, I just can’t wait to drive the Model S!

anyone else catch the 3D logo, does that mean that 6 is going to be in 3D? All that I had seen so far looked like they were dropping 3D.

    1. omgsean1

The 3D logo on bottom left of the GT6 box art is still there like GT5 have it next to the Sony Computer Entertainment logo which show on bottom right.

Right in my birthday. This will be a great year. First, Saint Seiya Brave Soldiers, and couple of weeks later Gran Turismo 6. It’s too bad this bundle is not available in the Americas. I’m sure they would sell thousands of these over here. Oh well… it’s your loss Sony and PD…

  6. CarBastard

How stupid do they have to be, honestly? This thing would sell loads in the entire world, but no, they have to limit it to Asia only. Didn’t the U.S bought tons of the GT5 CEs? Didn’t Europeans go as far as buying a Signature Edition that retailed for five times the price of the game?

They’re just losing potential money of expensive collection packages while annoying most markets and die-hard players and collectors. Way to go Sony, just like with that stupid GameStop pre-order thing…

That’s very cool. One of those things you’ll have to wait to purchase on EBay or what ever your favorite auction site if you are a collector.

Don’t get the extra 3D voucher, there giving another time the viper, tesla s, corvette? Those cars are already part of the anniversary pack, so what would be the point. Or would they be in 3D and what would be the use of that if most of us don’t have a 3D tv?

    1. Nelsonatormjn16

i also seen the dicast model of the GTR Nismo GT3, and i would also like this as well as it looks good by each detail on it.

  9. Force-Feedback

I’ve gotta say that’s a really nice blue for that model GTR!

Aside from that, wasn’t there supposed to be more news from yesterday? Or did I get it wrong?

    1. SnakeOfBacon

yeah, I dunno what happened there, Tokyo Game Show is over now, and it seems all that GT6 did there was turn up, offer a playable demo like they’d done before and go home, no news, nothing.

  10. mr_pepps

Surely it’s better to have different special editions all over the world?
If everybody had the same thing wouldn’t life seem a little dull?

  11. D_gamer725

Please please please please do this for the US!!! Why give Asia three exclusive AMERICAN CARS and not give it to AMERICA!!!!

    1. RACECAR

I’m gonna assume you haven’t payed attention one bit. because if you did, you’d know The 15th Anniversary edition in America has all three cars included in it. So no, they didn’t ” give Asia three exclusive AMERICAN CARS and not give it to AMERICA!!!!”. Chill the hell out.

  12. Gogga

What’s stopping PD from releasing a world wide collectors edition? Or atleast include the GTR model in the 15th Anniv edition!

    1. omgsean1

I think you can play any region games on your PS3 European version, but in order buy DLC you need to have another region like Asia PSN account to buy DLC for GT6 and other games.

    2. HuskyGT

Some games DLC work no matter the region though. I have the Asian version of Borderlands 2 and a US PSN account. I still was able to buy the DLC from the US PSN store.

I know that GT5 didn’t let you do this though, so better wait and see if it’s possible with GT6.
