Agreed. In these times of poor fresh news its amazing how far we can actually dectect small small things which seem to be new ! And more amazing is how far we can push our imagination to try understand all these small stuffs.
Pretty sure than if we still dont get news during one month we will start to see details that even PD never seen !!! Haha

Put back your self confidence in your pocket bro, “mistakes” like the one you are pointing out are normal for someone under pressure who’s trying to give his best.
It even happens to the best real race driver.
Easy to explain, you are under pressure (if you win your dreams come true) watched by everybody (+1 for pressure). Then you are playing on some tracks you never played before with this car/physics. If you are not the first one to play you have a time to beat…
With all that you cannot expect not to do any mistakes.
Have you been ranked within the first 10 US/CAN players ? if not just dont worry, you are few seconds behind them ;) (me too)

If you say that your “contact” told a 14th may release, it means that this so-called “reliable source” might be in holidays or working on something else than GT5…
Oubviously for a release on 14th may (in 3 months), the game might be already in production (printing bluerays) even more for a worldwide release of a blockbuster. Stocks have to be filled in !!!
I just hope you are true my friend, even if its just for Japan version (who cares bout language in a race game ? the car soundis the same everywhere around the world !!!)

i didnt see any flags. i did see blue status updates that said who just overtook who.
I think i can predict the next GT5 track and car video, Nurburgring or Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Car the 370 or the Nissan GT-R.
I am starting to think the reason they keep postponing GT5 is because the only track they made so far is the nurburgring!
Am i the only one who wants to see some other tracks already?

Flags :D i just hope that people who ignore them get proper penalties. Also if you look at the lap counter it says something maybe ‘tour’ 1. so its a pre race warmup lap and blue flag is displayed to all drivers

Did i see a Girl in one of the Cars ? If!! Well that was about time, I really would like much focus on Girl Racers for Virtual SIM Racing, because it would help the sadly controlled Guys out there, with a Girlfriend that just don’t see the point in Racing Virtual Race, My Wife came around after i told Her, that many guys has a Hard time, just getting free time, to race with a Controller, and No woman would aloud a Race setup in the living room for such a Fun Factor, and then she bought me a Total Setup ( Playseat-DF_GT-surround system, and a 42″ SOny SCreen, for our Living room, as a 24 years anniversary Gift, and Wau It makes me so proud, and Faster LOL we need more Girls Guys..
They too can be Orsm Race drivers, I watched a Australian Serie called, Girl-Racers, and those delicious bikini Girls, raced there ass off, in 6 categories of racing, F1-Rally-Trashcar-Mud Cars, Drift Cars, and GT Cars.. Orsm to watch, and quite delicious Yammieee, as i said, more Girls Please…

Maybe in this case, since the flag is so small, it might be showing the player that the one in front of him is under blue flag and then that he doesn’t have to stick on his ass and should be able to overtake him without fears (LOL).
In that case to show you that you are under blue flag, a big one will be displayed (bit like the countdown at the race start)…
This looks like a (possible, remember that i’m only guessing) good idea, for exemple during endurance race, after few delayed pitstops, the order of vehicules on track is a bit like “messed up” this would help to know if you have to brake earlier or just keep your ligne as the previous car will let you go…

the music from the video is “Genesis” from Justice. It’s a french group of djs which is doing quite well eventought this kind of music is excactly the type which you like or you hate ! hehe
They still have released a most know and “easy” music : D.A.N.C.E, you might have heard it before.
For information one of their music is in GTA IV also, called “Waters of Nazareth”.

On topic : GT rules, but Paul Ricard track wouldn’t be the best French track to add in GT series.
– Magny Cours >for F1 related, and also coz it’s really good to drive on it (i’ve tried before) almost all corners are easy to take but really hard to master, one mistake and bye bye few seconds.(Can be played one Formula One Chmp (PS3) and GTR1&2 (PC).
– Le Prenois Dijon > Awsome track with lots of level changes. One corner in particular is really crazy, hardly turning and going down (a bit like UK’s Brands Hatch first corner but in worse). Every years many cars are doing some bad roll-over (not sure for this word) due to small mistake or small contacts, in particular small cars (like VW’s Golf or Renault Clio).
But have to stop dreams… This will maybe happen for GT 12 or GT 20 !!! hehe

I must say, after driving Ricard in Ferrari Challenge, I came to the conclusion that Ricard is the ugliest track in the world. It wouldn’t bother me the least if it didn’t show up in GT5.
We saw some more cockpit view too but damn, that steering animation just stopped at the extremes. I know, unique GT academy build of GT5… but I want those crossed arms on the screen or no arms at all, otherwise there’s no hope of matching my wheel 1:1 with what’s happening on-screen. I can’t help it, I’m too used to the responsiveness of rF I can’t go back! I do appreciate how hard it is to do what GT5 is doing without looking like LFS and their awkward attempt though.
Yeah, having the Paul Ricard Circuit in GT5 was always on my wish-list, but will we see it ?? I also appreciate the blue-flag thingy, rude drivers must be sanctioned

Man I hate videos like that play thumping music all the way through. At the beginning, fine, but I’d rather hear the ambiance and the game rather than some poor souls taste in bad music!
Still can’t help but feel that all of this showboating is a contributory factor to the delay of the game. Seems like everything about it s important other than the game itself.
