  2. VeyronGlen

This is so not fair, my friends who are only 1 year older than me get to go to London on a class trip, they don’t like GT5 as much as me and they get to play it! My friend says he’s gonna bring some pics and vids back for me though ;)

wow, the canada thing looks really cheap, just look at the logo it’s a bunch of PS3 charictors bashed together behind the canadian flag, who ever designed it failed.

    @Anes
    +1
I want to see some demo’s down under. Blacktown is pretty big and would love to see one there. With it being school holidays over here.

  6. Madmurdock

Going tomorrow to Eurogamer. Can’t wait to try GT5. Tried it at the PS Beta Rooms in August and looking forward to seeing a newer build.

  7. GT'ireland

be nice if i could make my way there but i broke my ankle 2 days ago,,theres an upside to being off work for a couple of months and that upside is loads of time to play GT5!

  8. gunma36

Ahhh, seems like we’ll see some more videos these days! Roll on, october, september’s finally gone, we all can’t wait for november!

  9. DCP

There is also one in South Africa which started about 10 minutes ago. I will attend tomorrow morning. Gonna be epic….GT5 is finally here.

    1. Pie 'n' Peas

Yeah, I agree, where is our PSN love?! Now I have to come up with a plausible excuse to go down to London, all expenses paid naturally! Hmmmm…

    2. ddl8

that is exactly what i dont understand, why not to give demo to psn, and even early to those who bought prologue.

    3. Pie 'n' Peas

As much as it pains me, I also understand the purpose of a demo on something like PSN, and that is to give people the opportunity to try before they buy, at which point a demo on PSN is useless to fans!

I know it’s hard, but hang in there, this is the late month you need to be without GT5, and not many days to wait when the next month starts :p

    4. ddl8

to try before buy? i dont understand why some bumps passing by best buy have that option to try gt5 and me who baught gt5 prologue got to gaze youtube.

    5. Pie 'n' Peas

Ummm, yeah, that’s what demos are for.

These installations are currently there for pre-release marketing, and if you have the ability to go and play on one, go and do it. If not, sit tight with the rest of us and wait for the full game and then you can play as much as you want for as long as you want. Seriously, people need to stop feeling sorry for themselves. It’s not like you have 6 years to wait is it?!

    6. Andrew

IMO I think from a marketing perspective they will put a PSN demo out after the gmae release to increase customer base. They knoow there thousands of us out there that will be buying this game with or without a PSN demo. Once they have purchased the hook will be for the new users via PSN demo.

    7. Pie 'n' Peas

Yep, a PSN demo is good for those who already own a PS3, and can go out and buy the game right away if they like the demo. What makes total sense right now is to raise peoples awareness out on the street to help increase hardware sales. Those fence-sitters who already own a PS3 can get mopped up with a PSN demo later.

    8. Damo

There’s really not much point in releasing a demo now… there have been demo events across the world (apart from Australia), so if you want to play it so badly then go to one of them, rather than sitting at home and trolling… boo hoo, no GT5 demo on PSN. Where’s the patience guys… c’mon, we’re mature people, not 5 year olds. Think about it… we’ve waited for so long already… why not wait a little longer for the surprise that we all hope is in store!

    9. DarthTurismo

lol as has been said by thousands of other GT5 fanatics… there is no point releasing a demo. The excitement generated by this title and the extreme expectation after a 5 year wait is more than enough to (imho) create what will most likely be one of the biggest selling ps3 titles of all time…

Here are my short reasons (again just my humble opinion) why they wont release a demo:

      * All the fans will start complaining about what it’s lacking compared with the finished product (which is already happening from various builds posted on line & seen at various events)

      * It will water down the hype and frenzy that has been created around this title over the last 5 years.

      * They really don’t need to do it because there is already enough hype surrounding this game and you would have to be living on a dessert island to not know about
      GT5.

As a confessed GT fanatic i too am suffering just like everyone else… but that will make the day i pick up my copy and put it in my PS3 all the more special and exciting. I for one am hoping to fire it up (wait the painstakingly long time for it to load info onto the HDD)
and then be blown away by all the things that Kaz kept a secret from us all!!!!

    10. - Ice of SZRT -

A demo could do more damage than good… Think about how many people complained about the GT5 TT demo. There were so many people complaining about the difficulty. Although us GT Elite understand that we had professional physics & harder grade tires, many thought that was the “best GT had to offer”… I know better… But a demo that’s missing a certain feature might break the deal for someone & it (the feature) may make the final cut. It could also reduce hype & make som settle for the demo experience (blur anyone?) I’ll judge from the real deal regardless but I can’t say the same for the masses. Either way PD knows what they’re doin’… Word of mouth, & GT5 friends list staus (“Your name here” playing GT5) will sell GT5 alone.

    1. ICEMAN_ZIDANE

guys pls don’t ask why they are not realasing a psn demo
      IT’S awesome that they don’t realase a psn demo , GT 5 is not a normal/bad game which needs a demo …
