As it seeks to keep the PlayStation 5’s sales running along at record levels, PlayStation has started its summer advertising campaigns with something of a crossover between its entertainment and gaming divisions and two of its biggest franchises: Gran Turismo 7 and The Last of Us.
The latest update for Gran Turismo 7, 1.32, is now available, coming in at 1.25GB on PlayStation 5 and 1.76GB on PlayStation 4, bringing with it new cars, races, and general gameplay changes — as well as a new look for one of the game’s circuits.
Gran Turismo series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has published his traditional pre-update teaser image showing the vehicle content players can expect to come to Gran Turismo 7 this month, with four new cars confirmed including a returning 90s supercar.
The first trailer for the upcoming Gran Turismo feature film was screened to a limited audience at Sony Pictures’ CinemaCon 2023 presentation in Las Vegas. Two of the film’s most well-known stars, Orlando Bloom and David Harbour, also made a special appearance to reveal the new footage.
