With the release of Project CARS 2’s first major DLC, Slightly Mad Studios has added some new community events. The three challenges feature content from the Fun Pack heavily, making use of the new tracks and cars to good effect.
The first of these events take place on the fictional Mojave Sidewinder circuit in the all-new Ford Bronco “Brocky”. Although this car is arriving in the premium DLC, players can take the jeep for a ride regardless of if they own the pack or not. If you’ve been wanting an opportunity to sample a small piece of the content in the Fun Pack, this is exactly what you’ve been looking for.
Ford’s Bronco is a hoot to drive and the Mojave circuit is perfect for getting a feel for the handling of the vehicle. Give it a try; compared to the other cars in PCARS 2’s roster, it’s quite unique.
Event two features the Audi S1 EKS RX Quattro on the new Barcelona Rallycross layout. Take on the tight circuit under heavy clouds and guide the RX machine to a fast time. Pay particular attention to the technical third sector and don’t lose focus — there’s a lot of time to be made up here.
It’s a Group B mashup for challenge three as the beastly Audi Sport Quattro S1 is unleashed. The 80s rally monster is combined with the fresh Classic Brands Hatch Rallycross track for a nice tour of the Fun Pack DLC. As huge fans of the Quattro, it’s great to see it join the PCARS 2 car selection. If you own the pack, be sure to give this event a go and familiarize yourself with the Audi.
All three events last from December 19 until January 2. “Brocky Fun Time” can be played without the DLC but the other two events require the pack to compete. Full event details are listed below.
