Ferrari SF15-T Coming to Assetto Corsa’s Red Pack

Is there a ‘cool down’ button anywhere? The news just keeps on coming with no end in sight. Coming hot on the heels of the team beginning to tease the contents of the upcoming car pack, today, Kunos have revealed – and confirmed – that not only is the already-suspected Red Bull Ring coming to the game later this month, but it will be accompanied by the Ferrari SF15-T.

While once believed to be the previously confirmed F138 from the 2013 season, Kunos have apparently traded up to the more competitive car used in last year’s season, holding an additional race win and 6 more podiums over the 664 chassis.

The Aventador SV makes a B-line for the track in just 13 days.

Also shown in more detail is the Aventador LP 750-4 SV that’s already been confirmed for the pack. With a V12 bite and 750 horses going to all four wheels it should be the quite the experience.

With the exception of the Red Bull Ring, the Red Pack takes its name from the national racing color of Italy and will pay tribute to Italian machinery, including the Maserati 250F driven by Juan Manuel Fangio. With three cars currently confirmed and four more to go, who knows what else Kunos has in store.

Console racers have just a little while longer to wait until the game’s late August release, and all content leading up to its launch should be included. The Red Pack is coming to Assetto Corsa on July 14th for the PC platform. Stay tuned for more on the upcoming pack over the coming days, and remember to stop by our Assetto Corsa sub-forum for more discussion and in-depth analysis.

This sim is going to be the gaming equivalent of finding a young, smart, and beautiful girlfriend after a trouble marriage.

It would be kinda funny if the SF15-T turns out to be an updated version of the 2014 car the Formula Corsa guys made.

But yeah, hopefully this car won’t make it so you damage the engine if you hit the absolute redline, as apposed to following the shift lights. And hopefully there won’t be stupid static at the high rpm like in the mod version!

Brilliant, I just got AC a few days ago and was curious to see how a modern F1 car would drive in this beautiful sim, what a wonderful timing!

There is an absolutely beautiful mod in the form of the F2002 available for download if you want to wet your appetite. You’ll find it at Race Department.

Assetto Corsa is surely one of the first games I’ll buy on PC. The DLCs are top-notch and the modding community is MASSIVE. Let me build my PC first, though. :P
