Kaz is paying attention to players comments and wishes. Kaz answers on questions and requests:

About the Youtube-Upload: They had it in the game on one piont, but it needed too much time for rendering. PD will look into ist again.

They want to do some HUD options (possibility to remove HUD)

Todays patch 1.03 will include options for mechanical damage.

Memory limitations only allow face tracking in Arcade Mode.

Lounge functions will be added over time

Kaz planed a "free ride" mode where you had follow all the street signs and even get out of your car. But they couldn't do it.

They are working on a credit and XP system for online mode. But he also asks for some patience!

Soundtrack on 2 CD in Japan soon.

Kaz is blaming flexible camera perspectives and large, dynamic light effects for the bad shadows. He wants to improve this.

Oh wait, it's only for online races? Not for career? :(

They couldn't have possibly made it online only. I understand that online is where it may be needed the most, so the punters and bad drivers don't win online, but if I mess up in A-Spec and hit a wall at 150mph, I want to have to struggle to get it across the line in first.

Anyway, just my two cents.

ROFL! I'm glad they implemented mechanical damage into the online portion of the game. Don't know how much longer I can live with those dam kids thinking GT5 is another NFS game. :grumpy:

If anything its more likely to make dirty ******** crash into you on purpose it should be level based via your game level and implemented that way but who am I to tell PD how to do things

I think that is based on what level you are mate nothing to do with the update :)
I guess that would make sense. I did just hit level 10.

Any everyone who is saying it is online only... have you tested it or are you going by what is in the thread?

Wow at the spam.

XP earnings and levels have not been altered 👎 👎 👎

hope they made it so online races dont effect your car.... sucks to have some 10 year old smash the back of my bugatti @ 300kph and now I have a 500k repair bill...

Why is it the most vocal oponents are also the ones who get it the most wrong?

You know that saves can be locked to PSN accounts without being locked to a console right? Unless I am mistaken that's generally what people want...

And what's wrong with XMB's back up utility?

Why don't they ever release patch notes? We have to go around working everything out for ourselves.

And what's wrong with XMB's back up utility?
What's wrong with not ID locking the saves in the first place?

Or do you seriously want to argue that waiting for the task of backing up the entire system that generally takes over an hour to complete is better than copying a single save that is less than a megabyte in size?

Now I warped my rear left wheel and the whole back end is shaking up and down.. Also I am driving a standard car too!

@B13POS
no Lounge Room

And what's wrong with XMB's back up utility?

1: It involves backing up the entire drive - which if you have a lot of media or content saved will take a long time just for the benefit of backing up one save game which is locked.

2: It won't help you if your PS3 YLODs, gets stolen, catches fire etc etc and have to get another one... the save game is locked to your actual PS3.

What people want is to make it so you can back up your save game as several people have already lost their save games to corruption and with them hours of work when it just letting them back it up to USB drive individually (but still tied to PSN account) would have saved them so much grief.

And what's wrong with XMB's back up utility?

When i got my Slim PS3 i used the back up utility and because half of my saves were LOCKED tot he system i lost progress on half of my games. If it is locked you cant back it up in ANY way.

No the birthday glitch is not fixed.

It needs to be... They should just scrap the whole birthday idea... The '67's are forever tainted.

hope they made it so online races dont effect your car.... sucks to have some 10 year old smash the back of my bugatti @ 300kph and now I have a 500k repair bill...

Crashing has nothing to do with chassis or engine repair bills!!!!!!!!!!!!
