I'm really looking forward to it, it will be the sound update we've all been waiting for.update 1.19 will come before April 21, and all GT Academy engine noises will be replaced with Kazanori' crazy man laugh,
Its a **** update. Its a 1.17.2 update with a hot fix and a 1 car added to the game. Still no course maker the game still remains as a beta.
Last year's GTAcademy was on GT6 aswell.
It doesn't work like that. The GT Academy events are online based so that's why.Has anyone tried checking if changing the PS3 system's date will unlock Rd 1? Try to push it further to Rd 2 and then 3? Final Round could probably be where the GT-R LMP will debut and that will be added in some patch or hotfix, so you don't need to check on that specific date.
I think a lot of drivers don't own a PS4. With the lack of racing games, drivers aren't in a hurry to get one.Why didn't they use PS4 to show a teaser of what GT7 can do now that most people own one?
Well although it's an arcade racer you already had Driveclub and with the release of PCARS next month, now would have been the perfect time for PD to show off some PS4 footage with GTA in order to counter the PCARS threat. But i guess i'm talking too much sense here and they decided to stick with PS3I think a lot of drivers don't own a PS4. With the lack of racing games, drivers aren't in a hurry to get one.

It's a joke. A bit of an odd one, but a joke nonetheless.
I suppose if they wanted to instantly cut the field of contenders down by 90%, launching GT Academy 2015 as a standalone GT7 demo on PS4 would be talking sense.Well although it's an arcade racer you already had Driveclub and with the release of PCARS next month, now would have been the perfect time for PD to show off some PS4 footage with GTA in order to counter the PCARS threat. So 90% of GT6 players haven't bought a PS4 yet? Nope that doesn't seem very credible.I suppose if they wanted to instantly cut the field of contenders down by 90%, launching GT Academy 2015 as a standalone GT7 demo on PS4 would be talking sense.
I don't doubt it was considered, especially since it would have moved a few PS4's. But that would have been a very bad idea for the actual event.

If you're expecting GT7 this year, you're gonna have a bad time...hence the surprise, I would have guessed they would have it by the end of the year when GT7 launches (imo), but a good surprise because of the wheel issues.

Talking too much sense? Have you considered the fact they might literally have nothing to show at the moment? Have you also considered that they could already launch it on a solid base for existing customers rather than a new platform just to show a probably unfinished physics code off?Well although it's an arcade racer you already had Driveclub and with the release of PCARS next month, now would have been the perfect time for PD to show off some PS4 footage with GTA in order to counter the PCARS threat. Yep.At earliest I'd think GT7 will be released in 2016
Yeah you're right, very unrealistic to expect they would be able to release what is basically a demo with a handful of cars on a handful of circuits and show of their WIP. Especially seeing they barely had 1,5 years since the release of GT6 and the PS4. Sense yes... the thing all the other developers seem to have that ditched an outdated platform, and are focusing on the current one that already sold 20 million units worldwide.Talking too much sense? No?
