Technically a contradiction but at least Tony and Kahne sell out most of the local tracks they race at like Bobby Allison and Ken Schrader did (or does in Kenny's case). When Kyle runs a Nationwide race the stands typically look about half full.

Both of them have extensive backgrounds and fanbases formed in Sprint cars so of course they sell out (as would Kyle Larson). In the end however, they still are Cup drivers beating lower tier drivers and yet there's no complaints. Also, would those stands be any more full without cup drivers? Honestly when Nationwide races at stand alone events, they literally look no different to me.

They just called the finish to the truck race the closest in Truck Series history on FOX Sports Live. Someone help me, is that true?

Again, probably because it's a completely different discipline of racing. Also, I think you are undervaluing the talent of sprint car drivers, especially at the World of Outlaws level that both race in on occasion.

I'm not saying they don't have talent at all as they are quite good themselves, I'm saying Tony and Kasey are huge major sponsored drivers going against drivers that either barely get sponsors or don't have any and in equipment that's top tier, the exact same situation that the drivers in Truck and Nationwide are in (assuming they are driving for teams not affiliated with Cup teams Like TSM).

I just find this situation hardly worth complaining about anymore when Cup itself is hardly watchable AND since cup drivers aren't winning championships anymore like they used to from 2006 to 2010.

What's with the Rick Allen stuff?

And yes, unlike Kyle Busch in the lower divisions, when the guys run the short track dirt races, they sell them out. It actually helps the track owners and promoters. It's their way of paying back the smaller guys promotions since it's what got them to the big leagues.

Because Rick Allen is a good commentator, but he makes me laugh to much when there's a wreck.

A car spins and hits the wall:
Regular Fox: "Oh! Trouble car around, and hard into the wall!"
ESPN: "Looks like Danica Patrick is doing well, oh, there's a car around. Caution. Now let's take another look at Kyle Busch today."
TNT: "Oh! Oh! Oh no! 'That's incredible!' Major crash!"
FS1: "UH OH! MAHJOR PWAHBWEMS!!"

Literally the most accurate description of NASCAR commentary ever.

I am going to go out on a limb here, and also say that the CoT with the wing was actually the best plate racing package in NASCAR for the last 10 years.

No. Absolutely not. No way. This is what ruined NASCAR plate racing.

The gen-6 saved it, thankfully.

With the wing cars could actually run in packs and bump and shove. When the wing went and the tandem came in it all went away. Last year was horrid at Daytona due to the aero of the Gen 6's. This year appears much better however.

Also when is the Nationwide race?

So I'm not sure who I like better, Austin Dillon or Ty Dillon. From what I've seen Ty is better talent wise

Getting sick of Austin...
Don't really like Ty...

Tonys not racing this year :(Guess that's good considering all the rookies + a sore leg = Bad news.

I have to go to the hospital as I just ripped my ears off. Totally worth it though as it enabled me to stop hearing that band murder the national anthem.

Looks like Cup won't be a problem for you then

Sad though because I think Austin Dillon is a good driver but like with Earnhardt Jr years ago (or whatever driver brings the most attention), the broadcasters are drilling the hell out of his name into our ears.

Still love Tandem Racing, to me this was the best plate racing NASCAR's had since pre SAFER barrier days
