Good Job, AJ, you earned it Sucks that this might've cost Ambrose the chase.

NASCAR race hub is gonna be a party this week

Aaaaand...#47 to victory lane! That was a good race, despite the accidents. It was a good battle for the lead with 2 to go. I enjoyed the race, as I often do when it's a road course.
Awesome race indeed, more Cup road courses please NASCAR!

If I'm Ambrose, I'm livid with Allmendinger for literally forcing me off the track twice in the final five laps.
I agreed until I saw the helicopter replay, and Marcos' interview, AJ led the most laps it's not like he lucked out to a win.
Damn can't believe I agree with GTPorsche for once lol

Watching from Race Buddy, I saw Ambrose pull the exact same move on Allmendinger that he did on Keselowski last year, only difference was that Allmendinger recovered and stayed next to him, which made all the difference since it forced Ambrose wide in the second to last turn. At that point he could just race defensively for second.

Good job on AJ for watching his tape and standing up against Ambrose's aggressive driving style. A well earned race finish.

Yes. There was no forcing off the track.. literally or figuratively literally....
The right side of Ambrose's car was kicking up dirt. The left side was smoking from contact with the 47. I don't understand what you didn't see there.

Just because Ambrose was too polite to acknowledge it in his post-race interview doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Congrats to AJ for the fantastic win at Watkins Glen! I really hope they add a few more road courses (the best races of the season along with talladega, daytona, and bristol) to the schedule. I would add Road America (would replace the first Michigan race), Circuit of the Americas (would replace 2nd Texas Race, thus having a road course in the Chase), and Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Canada (would replace the first New Hampshire race).

Nope. Just saw replay. Ambrose was completely on track.

So like I said, there was no being forced off the track at all.

And it seemed to me that there was plenty of door to door banging on both directions anyway. In the turn immediately before Ambrose ran Allmendinger all the way into the runoff area.

Keep both Michigan dates but space them out more, there's 5 mile-and-half tracks in the Chase but not one 2 miler ;)

Would love at least 3 road courses on schedule, with them alternating from year to year one Chase spot (year 1 Sonoma, year 2 Watkins Glen, year 3 Road Atlanta/Circuit of the Americas/Circuit Gilles Villeneuve/Laguna Seca/Willow Springs/etc) in place of second Kansas or Charlotte race, or have 12 Chase races.

Michigan that late in the year is gonna be a slush filled mess, same reason why Watkins Glen won't work unless it's one of the first races, it snows sporadically from October to March here, with more snow in the actual Winter months
